There is a seperate listing for the cafe/restaurent at thjs site, but we visited last weekend looking for the "store" which used to be here. The name is still here but, other than a few jams, pickles etc in a cupboard, there isn't much retail happening!

We had previously dined in as a group, and it was decided to return a few months later. We were not disappointed, food was amazing. The steaks were HUGE, all meals were very generous in sizeI loved that the kids menu option of chicken nuggets consisted of real chicken and not processed crap.We all went away happy and full.

Such a great dining experience and delicious meal. Definitely recommend the tasting menu as it is the best value for money. Brussel sprouts especially good as well as the squid. Really loved the way the drinks were brought over and poured in front of you - a really nice touch. Would return in a heart beat!

Barossa Valley Region
Always a favourite place to visit for lunch or breakfast, and perfect to bring guests to. Itâs based in a beautiful location in Angaston, just follow the signs from the Main Street. There are views of vineyards and a nice lawn area for kids to run around on. The outside deck is a great place to sit and the meals are always very generous and tasty. The Asian style mango pork with sweet potato is a definite favourite of mine. Itâs a good idea to reserve a table especially if youâre part of a group. A must visit place if you have t been before!

We enjoyed our afternoon at Salters Kitchen. The food, wine and service was all very good, but if you donât have a lot of time in the region Iâd recommend other winery restaurants. I guess it does depend on your price point and the style of dining youâre after. I can be a food snob and typically prefer finer dining. Salterâs is a little more casual than most. Gardens and historic buildings are beautiful, so you certainly wonât leave miserable.Hi Susanne,Weâre sorry to hear this and weâd like to apologise. We absolutely offer table service for coffee and cake. As way of explanation, we spoke with the staff member involved and the table you sat at had booked guests about to arrive for lunch. However, we do agree that our communication could have been much better and we would love to speak to you further to make sure this kind of confusion doesnât happen again. If you could kindly contact our Business Manager Andrea Murphy we would greatly appreciate it.Thank you for your valuable feedback.Kind RegardsThe Saltram Team

Ate breakfast here this morning with my family and was very impressed with the food and service. Prices were very reasonable. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and was very complementary about them. The grandchildren and I loved our pancakes. It was very busy this morning and deserves to be when they can provide such a nice well priced breakfast.

This pizza-loverâs paradise has been slicing award-winning pizza in the Barossa Valley for over 18 years! Winner of best pizza and best pizza-maker in Australia, 40âs Cafe is an iconic, fun-loving dining destination located in Angastonâs old Laucke Flour
Warm plates, hot food, and ample topping. Served on a deliciously thin crust, this wood oven pizza was faultless. Also, their house made ice coffee, the real deal, topped with cream and icecream was refreshing as it wasnât too sweet. A good selection of cakes to have with coffee. Also, local wines and beer/ciderDelightful setting, lovely friendly staff and good, happy service

This local pub/restaurant offered a really good variety of meals and drinks, all well priced. Having read a number of recent reviews I cannot identify with these as this was really not our experience. My wife and I both chose an ante pasta followed by kangaroo loin with a red wine jus and vegetables â¦which was all well cooked and well-seasoned. Wines and beer are all good, as is the service and cleanliness. The establishment offers made to order food, tasty and features prompt service. There is good parking and the restaurant is well located on Murray Street.

We were recommended this place by a couple on our wine tour and I'm happy that we decided to come. The serving sizes are really big and the Quail was definitely my favourite. Green beans and chips as a side were also pretty good and the staff provided really good service.
