Nieuw in Zaandam en na de eerste positieve beoordeling toch maar eens geprobeerd en dat viel zeker niet tegen. De saté (kip en lam) was erg lekker en ook de bijgerechten (nasi en bami) waren heel smakelijk. De gebakken tonijn was ook goed, maar minder onze smaak.Zeker een reden om nog eens terug te komen.

A three-course menu for ⬠12.95. from the menu you can order a starter and main course, alongside is another cup of soup served. If you choose Sushi (starter) this is ⬠2 extra per person, grill (main course) is ⬠5 extra per persoon, friendly staff. Tasty and lots of food for a very friendly price. The interior is clinical and it feels like it's meant to eat a quick bite

We stumbled across this restaurant when we where all very hungry and loved it. Its not like the average chinese buffet you would find in the UK. There was a fab selection of food with a choice of grill, wok or teryaki. Nice decor and staff and not forgetting the chocolate fountain. Cost about â¬20 pp.

We wondered around a bit before we decided on this restaurant. Being our first night in the area it was very difficult to pick from the massive selection in a small area however an all you can eat buffet (including drinks) is hard to turn down. You get a 2 and a half hour slot to eat and drink anything you want (including house wine and beer) all for 29Euro each. They had a great selection of precooked food, sushi and salads as well as a Wok section where you could pick your own veg and meat before they cooked it for you. The desert selection was also fantastic with the chocolate fountain being a firm favourite. The staff were friendly and they regularly cleared away empty plate. According to the rules on their website they will charge you extra if you leave anything on your plate (obviously trying to prevent food waste) so you do need to be sure that you can eat everything you put on your plate. However within the time slot there is plenty of time to just relax and digest a bit before picking up another plate. Would definitely go back there again.

Toko Gambira is supermarket/Take away where you can find mostly Asian import with a main focus on Indonesian products. Their take away is known in Zaandam for decades and is still as popular today. Friendly staff, good food and products and always willing to order something hard to find.

Came late from work and tough.....What to eat.....Oh yeah, there is new small restaurant nearby that serves Thai.Let's check it out.It's run by girls only, really friendly.When I first asked for only water....now problem, nicely chilled.I first took the kokos soup, then because not so hungry to more starters.Sate and Gamba.I really enjoyed the food and friendly girls, and if you are looking for something to eat...or take away.Come here

Choice of noodles and meat and vegetables to have your meal prepared to your taste in the wok makes for a fast and good lunch. Potions are reasonable but a little skimpy on the meat. A little bland though.

We were here last May and couldnât wait to come back.This system of ordering 5 times max 5 portions of sushi and other dishes each, is great and good value. We like to eat but are not big eaters, so we never get the max out of it, but other guests do and itâs amusing to see what people around you order and devour.Itâs a system that doesnât exist in my adopted home country Switzerland, but would be greatly welcomed, provided the prices are kept reasonable.Staff very friendly, nice house-wine that goes well with the food, and great choice on the menu. Weâll be back soon!
