Located at 15 Hardware Lane, just off Bourke St in the CBD, Rice Paper Sister offers the same fresh, organically sourced ingredients and inviting atmosphere as Rice Paper Scissors, with a "finer" dining experience.
The reviews on this restaurant are accurate, it didn't disappoint. The standout dish for me was the Kingfish Sashimi, very fresh and delicate flavors with an unusual passionfruit accompaniment. Four of us shared our dishes and with the exception of the crispy prawn and cauliflower dish, all were delicious. The prawn dish was a bit too fishy tasting for me, but that could just be my preference. The service was great, friendly and efficient. The only reason not to give this an excellent rating was the state of the bathrooms, not the cleanest I've seen.Highly recommended.

Honey pepper wok was delicious and so tasty. Canât thank the staff enough for helping me choose this dish as I didnât want anything toooo hot. It wasnât. He fried rice is pretty good as well. The size of the serving was excellent. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Parking is pretty good. Easy to find in the heart of Williamstown only a short distance from the beautiful waterside.

This is a very unassuming local restaurant, we have been here many times and the food is consistently good and reasonably priced to boot. The decor is very traditional but the staff are great and the selection on the menu will suit anyone who like Japanese food. Can highly recommend this restaurant. It has a basic wine list and BYO is acceptable.

Well I had to try the vegetarian option. Staff were very polite and well versed in menu optionsHowever as a first timer I found that the menu showing meat options but not was substituted for the meatNot sure why the menu doesnât reflect the meal. In fact why they show it as a meat dish at allPrices were reasonable but I felt they charged as if it was meat. Eg lamb was replaced by mushrooms yet charged as if meat. Should have reflected a reductionA disappointing first time experience

We tried Lion Dance during footy season when a game involving the Western Bulldogs was on. A fairly large group including the owners was watching the game, and having a enthusiastic good time. Glad they won.... Oh, and the food was good

Not quite so enamored this time. Again enjoyed the salmon cones, great flavor and presentation. Good value and a worthwhile detour but probably prefer Dandelion.

Very welcoming family restaurant.. the food was fresh, flavoursome and served in a timely manner (which was great as we were dining with kids with friends).. the only negative point was drinks, every new drink we wanted we had to ask... we got a combination of dishes and all were fantastic.

Well known in this area and has provided great food for some time. Staff are very friendly and as i said food is excellent. A great menu covering Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese with some great specials. Prices are reasonable.Situated along the cafe precinct of Williamstown with options to sit either inside or outside and just enjoy the views of Melbourne

This is a small, neighbourhood restaurant with a welcoming feel as you enter. We were seated quickly and soon had menus to explore. Choosing the Thai fish cakes and chicken sates, we selected the Panang Curry with beef as a shared main. I was wary that the fish cakes may have been rubbery but this was far from the case, they were tender and tasty. Chicken sates were good. The curry amazing. At this stage I will admit that I called for the menu again, for dessert. Their banana fritters were superb, with a side of coconut icecream. I am sure we will be back.
