We were staying in nearby Botley, but based solely on the excellent reviews and recommendations we decided to drive the extra few miles to the 'Friends Refined' - what a great decision!!!At first sight, the menu seemed quite expensive, and compared to many Indian Restaurants it was, but cost is of course only one part of the equation, and the quality and quantity more than made up for it. Taking everything into account, including ambience and service, our meal at £60 for two, including bottle of wine, was great value for money - it was a wonderful meal, selected from a varied menu. When we're next in the area, we'll certainly visit the Fiends again.

Iâve been to Yo Sushi in Whiteley 100âs of times but I moved out of the area a couple years ago so I rarely go now. The last two times weâve tried to pop in for a quick lunch when shopping - each time was terrible! The first time, we walked in and waited for about 5 minutes to be seen. Then a young man came over to us and said we canât be seated at the moment because the rice isnât ready. We didnât understand what this even meant, as the conveyer belt was going round full of dishes so why couldnât we be seated? Baffled we walked out because we couldnât be bothered to question such an absurd objection. The last time we went, it was 1 minute before they opened, (literally 11:29) but we managed to come inside and wanted to sit down and look at the menu. Every staff member looked perplexed and said they werenât open. At this point, it was literally 11:30. Now I donât usually ever kick off but this was beyond a joke. The staff are all rude and utterly useless and quite frankly need some customer service training. I would avoid this place and go to anywhere else in Whiteley.

Highlands Tandoori serves classic indian and Bangladeshi food. established since 2006 highlands tandoori has built up a great reputation in the area. we cater for large parties. Booking is advisable as the restaurant get full quick. Takeaway service is av
Several years ago this was considered one of the best Indians in the Fareham area. However after a couple of recent disappointing visits it would seem standards have since slipped. During our latest visit both our chicken curries were partially under-cooked and tasted bland. Furthermore my onion bhajis were dry and the naan bread was overcooked. Also, my coke was flat. Like it had been poured from a left open bottle. I'm all for cost cutting, even more so in today's tough economic climate, but come on guys, don't be cheap. At least use a fresh bottle. On a more positive note our rice was good, as were our desserts (albeit still slightly frozen!) The complimentary Baileys is always a welcome touch and the service was top draw as always. Also, they have a five star hygiene rating as of August this year, which is always reassuring. That said given the recent drop in food quality we'll be going elsewhere from now on unless standards improve. Shame.

My family and I regularly visit Kamâs Palace and the excellent menu, quality of ingredients, well presented, perfectly cooked meals and first class service, makes this restaurant one of the very best in the area. For the first time in all the years we have been eating at this restaurant, I ordered a meal off the Traditional Chinese Menu and it was one of the tastiest meals, absolutely bursting with flavour, I have ever enjoyed - Mixed Royal Seafood, Chinese Mushroom and Glass Noodles in Satay Sauce in Hotpot - truly outstanding. We have been eating at Kamâs Palace for over 20 years and we have never had a bad meal/experience. Tom Chow the Restaurant Manager and his team ensures that every customer has a good time and that is why they have so many repeat customers. I strongly recommend that anyone who loves Chinese food visits Kamâs Palace and I am confident that the food and service will exceed expectations.

Basmati Indian restaurant currently has branches in Locks Heath, Southampton. Petworth, West Sussex and Westergate, Chichester. Serving traditional and modern Indian Cuisine. The poultry and lamb are welfare audited and the vegetables are locally sourced.
We went early on a Monday evening and it was encouraging to see a family already eating. A large party also came in before we left. The food was very good but they didnât spice mine up as requested. The staff were friendly and helpful.

After looking at previous reviews we had high expectations. Erm, sadly no, soft poppadoms, chicken tasted like it was cooked a few days ago, it fell far short. There are far better take aways in the area, you need to be very hungry if you give this place a good review. Twice we tried it and both times they got something wrong. Those who have given this place a good review must have very low expectations, for us it fell very short Owner at Gandhi Indian TakeawayResponse PendingHi Judy, Iâm extremely sorry to hear about your experience with us and your concern with our standards. Visited Dim T on recommendation of a friend. 4 of us went on a Monday night when they do their 50% off all food. Having fairly recently gotten into Japanese food I was excited to try this place and I wasnât disappointed. We had 3 starters per couple which were absolutely delicious. The chicken satay in particular was amazing. We all had a main and I went for Katsu curry which was again delicious. Washed all this down with a couple of pints of tiger, as did the other 3 at the table. Was pleasantly surprised to get a bill of about £75 for all that for 4. Service was great and we even got a complimentary sambuca and fortune Cookie at the end. Will definitely be returning!! We love your comments travellergazman, thank you very much.We are very happy to hear you thoroughly enjoyed your visit and have shared your comments with the team. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Inspired by fast-paced japanese ramen bars, wagamama offers a range of fresh, healthy dishes including ramen, donburi, teppanyaki, curries, salads and juices. wagamama encourages guests to share in their enthusiasm, slurp on noodles, relax in good company
Absolute waste of time. People say t if you don't like the wagamama way don't go, well i certainly wish I had reviewed this establishment before going. On arrival chefs were leaving in their full chefs whites (which were not white after a shift) via the entrance, very off putting. 5 meals ordered and 4 of which arrived at different times. Apparently the food is cooked by highly qualified expert chefs. We dined off peak so restaurant was quiet and 14 chefs were unable to produce 5 meals at least approximately the same time. The first meal had been eaten before the second one arrived.hey linda, we're sorry to hear about your experience. we want to ensure the freshness of all our dishes + therefore they will be delivered to your table as soon as they are ready. this does mean that sometimes dishes may be delivered at different times. your feedback is very important to us, please feel free to leave some more here - https://www.wagamama.com/contact-usthank you
