Very nice young man server. Egg flower soup Luke warm. Sweet and sour chicken bad. Batter bland. Unrecognizable chicken pieces. Fried rice ok. The fortune cookie didn't even have a fortune inside. Can't recommend this place. Drive to Gearhart to the Great Wall for excellent Chinese food.
We came across this cute little "cottage" of a food truck while checking out the nearby Garden of Surging Waves. It was closed at the time, but we returned the next day to chow down on lumpia and pancit. Adobo dishes were also on the menu. The lumpia takes a bit of time to cook and as they were out of the vegetarian version I didn't partake. My pancit, however, was quite tasty!
Downtown coffee shop, offering 100% local Coffee that is fresh from bean to cup, serves Coffee Drinks, Breakfast,Lunch,Pastries and more,Come see us!! and we also have taxi service too
If you want a really good cuppa in central downtown Astoria, with some local "spice" thrown in, this is the place. It's on 10th St near main-drag Commercial. Mama Kristina runs the kitchen, Papa Richard drives their taxi service, Daughter Senita operates the counter and front room -- in mornings putting up with good-natured abuse from a gaggle of old boy regulars. The coffee is excellent and moderately priced. For a lasting memory, ask to use the toilet, an adventure indeed. This is a fine place, it made me happy, so I highly recommend the Downtown!

Tokyo Teriyaki is a Japanese restaurant conveniently located at 1446 Commercial Street in Astoria, OR. We offer many menu choices such as our Teriyaki & Sushi in an affordable price.
We eat here on a semi-regular basis. It is always good, never bad and seldom excellent but always very good and that is almost perfect for this kind of eatery...:)

We have been going to the Golden Star for a number of years now and it never fails to impress us. The food is very good and the portions are very generous. The service is friendly and quite quick, you are enjoying your meal in very short order. This is always about our first choice for dinner when visiting Astoria and is one of our favorite Chinese restaurants anywhere we go. Most of the staff have been there for as long as we have been going there and they are extremely pleasant and welcoming.

Wanted sushi when down at the coast for razor clamming. This was the perfect solution. We started off with a Sake Flight of three cold options. This was nice as it allowed me to choose which Sake I was going to drink with my dinner. Ten Thousand Ways was a lovely Jumai Honjozo with a soft and round flavor and a hint of blackberry and currant. It was the lease 'sweet' of the Sake in my flight of three. We started off with their appetizer of Green Mussel which was four pieces baked with crab and mayo with swet sauce, onions and massago. I wasn't expecting to like it, but it was wonderful. Then sushi followed:Maguro, TunaHamachi, Yellow Tail Hotate, Creamy ScallopShiromi, White FishTobiko, Flying Fish Egg with Raw Quail EggSoftshell Crab Rolland finally a Salmon Skin Hand RollToo full for dessert.Wait staff was wonderful and the bartender came by to chat about the Sake. All in all a lovely evening with good food and good service.

We dined here after a swim at the Astoria Aquatic Center. Our favorite table is in the front looking out to the street. We started with the Spendini appetizer and a glass of Chianti. Next was the Spinach salad with mushrooms. Chicken Parm was beautifully presented and delicious. Love the new blue color on the walls and very cool new light fixture with lots of twinkle lights in the middle of the dining room.

Urban Cafe, not the restaurant next door, has wonderful food at reasonable prices. Order at the counter (menus there, as well), and it's delivered to your table of choice. We ate lunch there mid July 2019 and were delighted with quality and price. We did not order dessert, but the table menu showed us an interesting assortment at current, typical dessert prices. For mid tourist season, we were surprised that the Cafe wasn't crowded. Were peops all eating at the usual and prevalent fast food joints on the roads in and out of Astoria? They should have parked downtown and found this tiny, but excellent cafe.
