Wow, super impressed. For years after visiting Tibet I have driven past this place and wanted to go....tonight I did and I am so pleased I did!The food was fantastic- get a few dishes and share- there's so many delicious things you really need to try more than one thing! The momos are very tasty- entrée was 4 momos but there were main meals with more. The special fried rice with beef was divine- so yummy! Another stand out was the chicken with chicken in a slight cheesey sauce. Meals were so cheap too- think the most expensive single item is about $16. Very affordable and a great place for a group.The staff are lovely and very attentive/ helpful. It's a family run business. Only criticism was that it took a long time between when our plates were cleared and anyone checking if we'd like tea or dessert. We had to ask for tea. Other than that it was an enjoyable meal.Worth a visit if in Northcote!

Delicious food, quick service....an overall enjoyable night. The only thing is the seating, unless youâre sitting in a booth youâre quite close to other patrons. I did feel a bit squished in my seat as well but apart from that I absolutely loved the food. My friend & I shared a starter, the deep friend marinated chicken...delish! For main course I had the teriyaki chicken & veggies served over rice which I was super impressed with!

Exceptional food and staff...could not fault this restaurant. Great value with their $65 deal for two people with meals that kept all the taste buds firing. Would highly recommend if you are doing a night out at the theatre or even just a nice dinner out.

We waited for more than 1 hour to get a dinning table on a Friday night, but IT WAS WORTH IT.Never tasted calamari so good with Thai sauce. The BBQ lamb ribs were succulent and just melted in mouth. Thai BBQ chicken was soft and tender but appropriately grilled. For vegetarians the mini Banh Mi and Ma Hor were unexpectedly very tasty. We were 6 adults in which 3 were strictly vegetarian and 3 could eat anything. Having vegan option in the menu was great as it met everyone's requirements. Person who served us had really good understanding of all food and her advise was very helpful.

Iâd been wanting to try Loving Hut for a while. Tonight was the opportunity on Uber Ears. Iâm impressed. The rice paper rolls were lovely. The green vegetable stir fry was great too. The food was as fresh as and full of flavour. This is a sound take out option. I must eat in soon.

I wrote a review on this restaurant when newly opened. It was very good then and the quality and value is still exceptional. We have dined here a number of times over the past two years..food always fresh and well presented. Staff are efficient and friendly. Only issue might be the noise in the room, but the numbers of diners reflects it's popularity. Still a gem of a place in Preston.

I have to say this place was a total waste of my time and money.The place is OK, the food is totally forgettable.Four of us had lunch here and we all left with one question, who would ever want to come back here ?Spicy 2 minute noodle soup like experience, but it was a weak effort at that.I also disliked the fact that we ordered Spring rolls but you do not get as many as the photos show it.I also had to ask for rice multiple times, so OK they can not cook but the service was also lacking.You can do so much better if you are in the area, move on nothing to see here.

Went for the first time with a friend whoâs a regular, shared a couple of dishes. Squid was the most delicious Iâve ever eaten -melt in your mouth with a coating that didnât overwhelm the taste of the meat. Noodles were really good too - light and fresh. Perfect meal, will be going back soon.

Good choices on menu. Staff helpful and efficient. Husband loved his crispy pork. My stir fry was fine although tasted of too much pepper. Veggies on dishes super fresh and well prepared. Fair prices on menu and wine list. Decor is dated but seems a popular place. Will be going back.

Absolutely love visiting Som Tam. The food is always delicious and great portions and if you canât finish theyâll provide you with a take home container. Itâs very affordable too!Service is amazing and the restaurant has a cosy atmosphere. Must visit if in thornbury.
