This restaurant is located about a 10 minute drive from our home and one I have been meaning to try for some time. Its just a few doors down from our favourite Thai Restaurant Caroline Thai.We visited on a Friday night and it was quite busy. For entree we started by sharing an Okonomiyaki. This is savory style Japanese Pancake with mayo on top. I loved the savory pancake but my wife was not a great fan.Next we had the Yakiniku Beef which is stir fried thinly sliced eye fillet with special soy sauce with brocoli. This was delicious and the steak very tender. We had this with their Izumi Fried Rice which included prawn, chicken, egg and vegetables. My wife enjoyed a green tea whilst I had a Sapporo Beer.We would love to return and try some of their other specialties such as sashimi, sushi, ramon or shabu shabu (hotpot)

Caroline Spring is a suburb of Melbourne and even though it is relatively only 25mins from Melbourne CBD, this area is more like a residential area so not much of restaurants available. But Caroline Thai is a decent Thai Restaurant, especially in Caroline Spring.I came here solo and order their Caroline Mix BBQ Combo. The food was good so that I decided that I want to order some more but apparently the 2 staff serving were to busy either serving or taking order, payment or something else. Thatâs the lack of it, but the rest is good.
Dropped in to see if they could do a Vegan noodle.Yes was the reply, the staff were very helpful and asked lots of questions about what could or could not included.Felt reasonably confident with the meal being vegan.Knew their produce and ended up with a nice meal that tasted ok. $10.80 and an ample serving.Next time I will ask then to fry the tofu to get a bit more flavour. Maybe some peanut sauce.
I waited 25 minutes for service. I was the only one in the restaurant yet they couldn't make the effort to serve me . They answered phones. Ran to the take away. But not once did they come to my table or even acknowledge me. After 30 minutes I left. I will never be back.

We offer a buffet lunch and dinner in our bistro along with a great sportsbar that shows all live sporting events. The sports bar also has a great pub menu, offering all your pub favourites. We trade from 9am till late 7 days a week.
It was hard to find a decent dinner buffet in Melbourne. We found one 30 mins away from our place in Taylors Lakes area. The review was good and price was relatively decent. When we arrived , staffs were warm and receptive. Menu was pretty decent. It has salads which looks so fresh, entrees that were appetizing, pizzas and pastas which surely the kidd would love, main menu which has a variety of steaks, meat, fish, chinese dumplings, veggies and a wide array of desserts. They also have free cold and hot drinks. We digged in and enjoyed every menu.even the kids enjoyed as we didnt have difficulty forcing them to eat. After dining, my brother and i went to the Tabs/mini-casino area which is just beside the buffet area. For fun, we played and I spent 20 $ for 5 games of online binggo and my brother spent 5$ . Luckily, he won 75$ from the online bingo games.this was a pleasant surprise indeed!

It was a late lunch following a busy day of meetings. The staff were between lunch and dinner service but I was welcomed in.Nice staff, and it was good to see the staff sit down together and have a family style meal themselves. Lots of laughs from the group, so it looks like good karma going in to the food.Btw - My dumplings were delicious and I'll be going back!
decided to try one of the roast pork rolls. Nice a fresh salad with crispy bread roll and the pork was nice. Overall enjoyable quick lunch.Thank you very much for reviewing us!

Busy Saturday night after wonderful day at Flemington races. Unfortunately, ordered bruschetta pizza which was like cardboard or something worse. Didnât finish it. Next was my penne pasta which I didnât finish either. Found a bunch of thin noodles in my penne pasta which was somewhat off putting. Should of complained to management but wasnât in the mood after having had a great day at the races. Companions meal Mongolian sizzling beef reportedly was also poor. Worst meal we have had in years and years. Companion had warned not to eat here but it is close to home. Service was ok. Lovely receptionist. Dear lukecT5039SA, Thank you for your feedback regarding your dinner in our JBJ's restaurant. I have looked into your feedback and we served over 250 meals on Saturday evening. All of our dishes featured on our menu are freshly prepared and the dishes you had chosen are quite popular and multiple were sold on the night. I have passed your feedback on to our head chef. The thin noodles referred to in the penne mushroom pasta, are in fact enoki mushrooms, not noodles. I am sorry that you felt the meals were not of a satisfactory standard. Kind Regards,Stella Sarikoudis

Its the newest restaurant at Watergardens and as we like Thai, worth trying out. 1st of all, great cocktails! We tried the non vegitarian banquet and it was both very filling and had great flavours. Possibly the green papaya salad was a little too spiced, but it soon disappeared. A friend, who is gluten free and doesnt like pork said the red curry with beef was fantastic.
