I do not stop here as often as I would like and must make up for that in the future. I love the Shanghai Curry Noodles but any thing, including the great egg rolls, should please. Our group of 4 all had different dishes and each one was greatas reported.

Ninja Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi - St. George: When moving to Utah from the east coast we were disappointed in some of the hibachi places around here - until we found Ninja in St. George and we are in Heaven!! The owner (Tom) cooked our meals and Tia (our server) is amazing every time we eat here!! Now for the food - OMG!!! It's so delicious and cooked to perfection with so much flavor. My husband and I always get the filet mignon with the fried rice. The veggies, soup and salad are really good too. This is hands down our favorite restaurant in St. George!!Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We look forward to making sure you are just as excited with every visit you make to Ninja.See you soon,Terin

My nephew wanted to go here when we were visiting. There was a few things I could eat- shrimp, crab and some veggies. It was okay considering I typically do not like any kind of Chinese food.

I've reviewed this place before and have loved it. This time, I can't recommend coming here. First, the woman at the register didn't know how to ring up orders which made the line waiting to order unbelievably long. Finally, a guy came out from the kitchen to take over. The wait time for food has been ridiculously long. We've been waiting for 45 minutes and other before us longer. But somehow, people that came after are getting their food first. Plenty of pissed off customers today. We love this place, but won't be coming back with this horrible service. Of course we just heard that it's under new management, but that's no excuse for not having enough staff to fill orders.

have eaten here several times during the week and food was fresh and usually cooked properly. Sunday lunch was different. Much busier with screaming kids and whining dogs constantly during entire visit. Hot & sour soup needed black vinegar (it loses it's potency if it sits too long), egg drop soup almost tasteless, egg rolls looked pretty but were nearly empty when eating, crab rangoon mushy on bottom from sitting too long, fried chicken tough and very dry (hammered), Korean chicken skewers better but also very dry, and Chinese fried shrimp (unde-veined with head and shell on) were terrible. These are popular in China but shell must be crispy with soft shrimp inside. These had soft shells (undercooked or cooked at too low temperature) and inside overcooked shrimp that were tough and dry. Wife tells me sushi was pretty good and neither of us tried the Mongolian grill. Went here because I found myself out of wood ear fungus for making hot & sour soup at home and knew they make it. Many people who were there already eating when we arrived were still trying to bankrupt the cafe and still eating when we left. This is a great place for that mentality and it will always be busy with people who want quantity more than quality. I may go back on a weekday but never again on a weekend

Wife and I discovered great Pho on a trip to Vietnam. While this wasn't quite as flavorful as some of the best we had over there, it was very good and we'll return often. Large portion and under $10/bowl. The spring rolls were very good too. Service was very good as the place was very busy. Hidden in a little strip mall and worth finding.

Sesame beef and sesame chicken, egg rolls, and won ton soup. Beef and chicken dishes were quite good and generous. If you're hobbits like us, you might be able to share one plate. We took home as much as we ate. Other than the main course, the rest was average at best. They do serve beer (limited choices) so that's a plus in Joe Smith's state. Server could be more polite. She seemed to lack basic communication skills. Not rude, but seems like she's not used to talking to people! She was efficient..

Benja's Thai Garden

This is a fine dining restaurant with exceptional tempura, food and service. I loved it and would love to share that with others.

With our recent stay in St. George, we were looking for a unique and local dining experience. With Benja (Thai Garden – there are two Benja’s) we found it. Now, part of it was our lateness in making a reservation, but come on it’s Wednesday evening. The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping area. Our bad! We waited and when seated, waited again. It was obvious that they were understaffed for this type of patronage. The good thing was everything else –Nothing that we ordered was mediocre (and our group ordered a lot). From the spring roll and Wonton appetizers, to the rice, to the Pad Thai and different selections of chicken and curry, to the Sake sampler (which was very unique). Room for dessert? Sorry, not his time.St. George has many eating options – Benja’s Thai Garden was a very solid choice with great food that was well spiced.

Everywhere we travel throughout the country we always seem to end up in a Thai restaurant sooner or later, if the city has one. The food differs from place to place with some dishes bearing no resemblence to what we're used to at home in Hawaii. Benja Thai does a pretty decent job with the food, meaning that it's tasty and not over-priced. Our base line dishes for comparison are Pad Thai chicken and Penang Curry chicken. We obviously have our favorite places & tastes at home. Benja Thai's versions are different but in a good way. We both enjoyed the Pad Thai and Penang Curry and took leftovers home. And, the entree prices were also reasonable. My only gripe was that it took as long as it did to get to order placed. That could be improved.

When I first went to this restaurant, I thought it would be your average run-of-the-mill sushi joint, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out how wrong I was. Simply put, Sakura is an awesome Japanese restaurant, which is quite evident once you try their food, and when you see how crowded this place is in a town that doesn’t have a lot of Asian people in it. Every time I eat here, I’m impressed by the freshness of their sashimi and sushi. It makes me wonder where they get their fish and if they’re flying it in fresh every night. It’s that good. I haven’t had anything on their menu that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. One of my favorites is their Sakura roll. Tempura shrimp and crab, with tuna and avocado on top, sprinkled with eel sauce. It’s absolutely delicious and I could easily eat 25 pieces of it. If you like sushi, this is the place to go in southern Utah. If you do visit, go early especially on the weekends because this place is very popular.
