Great all you can eat sushi!!!!!!!!
Wasn't sure what to expect - but it was an interesting place. First Sushi restaurant I have ever been in where many of the signs were in both English and Spanish. Casual and filled with families with kids - I was surprised. Prices are very good, California roll was $6. All you can eat sushi at lunch is $16 and $23 for dinner. Seemed like most of the people were enjoying the all you can eat menu. Noise level pretty high.

Line was quite long due to 2 hour wait at other restaurants in building. Had wonton soup very good but would have preferred a seat in restaurant to eat it. Ate on theater steps due to limited seat availability.

Canât ask for a more no-thrills place than vinyl covered seats and a 2 page menu on a laminated sheet. Service was fast-food fast and the selections were good.Had the beef balls noodles. Broth was not as rich as expected but it tasted fine with all the veggie accessories.Vietnamese coffee was right on. Drip caffeine perked me up and the condensed milk was not too sugary.Right across from Harrahâs.

Top notch Chinese cuisine. A favorite of the locals. Outstanding Mongolian Beef, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and Orange Chicken. Szechuan dishes and Kung Pao Chicken not as authentic or tasty. Two choices of complete meals including appetizers. Sometimes large groups make it crowded. Recent price increases make it a little pricey.

When you enter the restaurant one will not be overwhelmed by the capacity to seat customers. Large enough for comfort but still small enough to enjoy a lunch or dinner in semi private establishment. Nor will you be impressed by the moderate table settings and style of tables. What will make you want to come back is the service, we had two different ladies take care of our orders and they made sure we were greeted and served in a friendly and polite way. The food selection was Honey Chicken with white rice cucumber and sliced carrots, I found it to be delicious, ordered it with mild seasoning and literally wanted to order more. My Daughter had orange pineapple with seafood, she is a Vegetarian which most if not all of there selections can be ordered and was as equally please with her meal.

Have eaten here a few times with my senior mother. The staff are wonderful catering to my mother's mobility needs! It looks small and unassuming from the outside but once inside the atmosphere is very soothing and cultural. Really like the shrimp options. I'm not a fan of egg drop soup and always opt for wonton soup instead. Lunch deals are very reasonable! Look forward to eating here when I'm visiting my mom!

I'm not much of a guy for Thai food. I'm more of a Southern meat and potatoes guy. Although we live just one mile from this restaurant, we have not tried it in the year we have lived here.We went on a Saturday night because our son was home from college and seems to like Thai food. He wanted to try it. Four of us went there for dinner. This place is convenient right off of Pyramid road in the Spanish Springs area and easy to see from the road. It's close to the Spanish Springs "junk food row" at corner of La Posita rd. It is not a large restaurant and does not seat a lot of people. When we went in, I was worried about the food as it was in the peak dinner hour of Saturday night and only one other couple was in there. A red flag for me.I let the wife and son order several dishes so we could all share it since I know nothing about this food. Apparently you can order this food in 5 levels of spicy hot. They cut me some slack and ordered level 1 which is the least spicy.I was very pleasantly surprised that everything I had was really delicious. Most of the things included a variety of noodles (remember I said I am a meat and potatoes guy), but these noodles were good. All four of us liked this food a lot. The son says it is his favorite Thai restaurant now, but unfortunately it is 100 miles from his college. The wife liked it so much that she ordered a take-out dinner 3 days later that I went to pick up. This time was a mistake. She ordered level 3 (out of 5) spicy hot and it was much too hot for me to handle so I did not like the food this time although it was the same food. It was just too hot. It took 3 glasses of water and 2 antacid tablets to calm the stomach. The wife thought it was ok, but then again, she has a cast iron stomach from decades of drinking hot sauce with dinner (well not literally). Bottom line, I suggest starting out by NOT asking for the higher levels of spicy. Start with 1 or 2. That is what we are going to order in the future. We will be eating more often, especially since it is just at the bottom of the hill. With all the high ratings and our fondness for the food, I wonder why it isn't more busy down there. Maybe it is just too remote for most people.

The service is always excellent and is only surpassed by the quality of the food. Our favorite seating is at the bar because it's entertaining watching the talented chefs hand-craft each roll and you can ask for specialty items like "extra pepper powder" or "more lemon slices". Last night we had some family in town so we made reservations for a table for 7 people. We started with some appetizers of mussels, calamari rings, edamame, and goyza with hot sauce. The apps arrived quickly and were piping hot. The server took our drink orders as we filled out our order sheets for our rolls. I asked for my favorite, "Tha Wingman" which is served with the rounds laid flat and topped with a deep-fried jalapeno slice. I ordered it with pepper powder and it came dusted with just enough. We enjoyed many different rolls and because all 7 people had AYCE, we shared a couple pieces with everyone, just to try all the various flavors. Four of the people from our party had never been to Tha Joint and after eating our fill... they could not stop raving about how fresh and amazing everything tasted. We'll definitely be back!

Another great experience at this restaurant @ The Grand Sierra Resort. Once again the wife and I ordered the all you can eat sushi. Great service at a very reasonable price. Very fresh and flavorful.
