The Best Filipino Restaurant, Bar & Banquet located in South San Francisco, CA, USA. We offer lunch buffet, Sunday Brunch, ala-Carte for dinner.
For a Good-bye lunch, my long-time friends suggested we celebrate at Fort McKinley Restaurant. We had not seen one another in person in 18 years, so we reconnected while having a delicious lunch of Filipino dishes. In buffet style presentation, one pays per person. Dessert is included.

We arrived from a long flight and we were staying in the Hilton Union Square, which is on OâFarrell Street, with Ono Sushi across the road (also a halal fast food shop and several bars, cafes and other restaurants nearby). We were a party of 5 and we ordered lots of plates - sushi, tempura, soft shell crab, tofu, gyoza - and all that we ordered was excellent. We had 3 beers and 1 soft drink. Our bill came to $151. I would happily eat there again.

Grand Palace is a dim sum and seafood restaurant located in the heart of downtown South San Francisco. We are conveniently located in proximity to SFO, and Caltrain stations.
My friend and I stopped in for a Dim Sum lunch. Restaurant was not crowed when we arrived and we were seated quickly. Largest dim sum selection I have every seen. No steam cart - one just orders off a menu. One peeve.... as the only non-Asian guests in the restaurant, service was not outstanding. Other Asian guests arriving much later than us were served more quickly and with a smile. Food was quite good - and we ordered 8 different small plates. Price was $44 w/o tip.

Not as good as Amami San Sushi which is 2 min walk almost across the street . Also prices are higher here. Besides the staff it is not very friendly

Great dim sum near SFO
Dim sum was delicious and not too salty overall. Shrimp dumplings, pan fried chives and shrimp, pineapple and custard buns, baked BBQ pork buns, shrimp rice rolls were all good. Service was decent. It got busy shorty after it opened at 10:00 am on Saturday. Parking could be tight even it had a parking lot.

Nothing particularly wrong, but just nowhere near as good as I thought it would be, based on the reviews. The food was bland, the service could be described as "uninterested". There's just absolutely nothing that would make me want to come back.

They're always crowded so that should say something! Usually the wait isn't long, but be sure to put your name on the list. I always order their cold noodle BBQ Chicken and it never disappoints! Everything is fresh and tasty. My bf orders their beef pho and enjoys the rare beef. Parking can be difficult since there are so many restaurants on Grand Ave.
