Contemporary Thai rooftop restaurant, Lounge Bar and Cocktail Terrace.
If we could we will be dining there every day. Lovely place with nice views and very friendly atmosphere. We go there if we celebrate any occasion. Favourite Pad Thai, Papaya salad or beef salad. Yesterday we tried Duck with was nice as well with extra portion of coconut rice. House red is highly recommended.

Years ago when I was doing a Masterâs degree, I took a train to visit Guildford. It ran through some of the most beautiful places and villages. I thought to myself that if I was to choose to live somewhere in England, I would choose to live around here. S
Four of us went for a lunch, we knew nothing about the restaurant, but liked the look of the menu. We had a small selection of tapas, and everything was lovely. I particularly enjoyed the cashew nut stew and the morning glory but there were no dud dishes. The service was efficient and friendly. It was well worth visiting.Dear MikePatx,Thank you so much for the lovely review! We hope to see you again soon.Best Wishes,Team Giggling

Thai with friends for food and fun! Located on the bustling Friary Street, Thaikhun transports you away from Guildford and takes you to Thailand with a unique train theme running through out. Grab a cocktail from our train carriage bar and head back along
Have eaten at Thaikun before and enjoyed. Returned on a Sunday evening but unfortunately didnât have such a good experience. The coke I ordered was flat, I asked politely for a replacement, of which was also flat - got a shrug and was told âsorry about thatâ.Ordered dumplings to start. These were inedible. I loveeeeee dumplings of all kinds but these were in essence, extremely smelly, fishy (?) pork meatballs - couldnât even stomach one between the two of us. Mentioned this when the food was collected and we were just told theyâd inform the chef. Didnât take them off our bill (£7).Panang curry was the saving grace - great flavour. We waited another 20+ mins after our food was cleared to be offered desert menus or the chance to ask for the bill.Sadly wonât be going back.Khop Khun Kha (thank you) Riannabrooke for taking the time to share your review with us. Here at Thaikhun Guildford, we strive to provide Ha Dao (5* service) and pride ourselves in serving Khun Kim's traditional Thai dishes. This does not sound like our ususal high standards. I would like to discuss your visit further, please feel free to contact me directly on [email protected] Regards, Thaikhun Guildford

Ate here tonight (Wed 23 Oct 2019). We live 4 miles away so eaten here many times. It was very disappointing tonight. The chicken in the main course tasted very old... very hard to eat/bite.Haweli in West Byfleet is a more consistent standard. RPG is not as good as a few years ago. Shame.

Rajdoot is a indian and Bangladeshi sub continental restaurant, since opening 1992 until today it has been most famous for traditional Indian food surrounding guildford ,it is one of the most busy indian restaurant in Surrey, please book your table in adv
Had a superb meal this evening, with thoughtful and efficient staff. When the bill came, we noticed that we had been charged £9 for two pints of lime and soda. When we queried this, we were told that this was the standard price for a pint of soft drink (£4.50 each) - confirmed by the price on the drinks menu. A real shame, as the same drink costs 80p at the pub up the road. We have dined here many times, and have never been disappointed by the quality of the food, but this excessive charge has left a sour taste.Thank you for your kind words I am really sorry to hear you have found some drinks price expensive, I have taken note and since soda water price has been reduced next time you are in the restaurant please ask for the manger I will personally apologise to you and give you refund For soda water , Rajdoot your restaurant please donât stop coming any problem please ask for me Also apology for late reply I was out of country Many thanks for the review Best wishes Kind regards Rahman Lyak Team Rajdoot

Bamboo Shoots provide noodles and rice dishes to eat-in and to take-away. All the food is freshly prepared and cooked in front of you. We also have fresh home made steamed Chinese buns (Bao Tze), which are amazing, and home made chilli sauces! Our focus i
Cheap fresh bowl of noodles - what more could you want for lunch.P{lenty of choice and speak to the chef who works right behind the counter if you want something slightly different. Only slight down side is though they do attempt to cater for Gluten free needs and both times my gluten intolerant brother has been there he has had a reaction so if you are very sensitive to gluten I suggest you try somewhere else, which is a shame since the noodles are so good.

Still as fantastic as they were when they first opened, which only means one thing: they care!Great food, great atmosphere, friendly service, there is nothing that I can fault about this restaurant. I've been a happy customer since day one and not once have I had a bad experience.

I went for lunch with some colleagues - between us we chose several typical dishes but they all looked very similar and, whilst ok didnât really impress. Our service throughout was polite but the place was rather dated as was the presentation. The carved vegetable garnishes looked dry and as if theyâd been used before....I wouldn't recommend based on my visit.

A disappointing experience. I visited alone on a quiet Sunday evening, apart from two takeaway visitors I was the only customer. Despite the restaurant being empty I was shown to a tiny cramped table. I received only a cursory greeting upon entering with absolutely no welcome or friendly chat whatsoever. The two âwaitersâ on duty at the time spent the whole time I was there time slouched over the counter looking at their phones adding absolutely nothing to the already non existent atmosphere. The food was actually very good, my lamb naga was very tasty and nice and hot, the mushroom rice and the onion bhaji were also excellent, unfortunately it takes more than just good food to make a good dining experience. I was practically ignored by said âwaitersâ when I left in keeping with my overall opinion of the service Iâd received. Itâs a shame that an otherwise good restaurant can be marred by such unfriendly, slovenly unenthusiastic staff!

A modern twist in Indian dining scene. We cook with our heart.
Not familiar with Guildford so used TripAdvisor to find this Indian restaurant. As others have said, very short menu with nothing standard fare. Very much enjoyed a mixed vegetable tiki, beautifully served and tasting delicious. Amuses bouches of the kind served in posh French restaurant with both a cup of the most delicious soup and a puri. Main course as venison a first for me in a restaurant of this type. Would definitely come back.
