Exquisite Japanese cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere in which the guest can enjoy the everyday life with exquisite food - with friends, with the family, but also with business partners - That is the restaurant ZEN. Our concept is a modern interpretation of
I came here because i read the many good reviews.Unfortunaly my visit couldnt live up to the epectations.. the staff was friendly greeting us and showing us to our seat, sadly after placing our orders we didnt get much attention by them from then onwards, us and also the table next to us had empty glasses for quite some time.It wasnt to full and i did see the staff standing around the bar a lot, so that was a little downer. Finally the food arrived and I was super excited!Sadly we were disappointed, we had the salmon Carpaccio, Gyoza ,karaage, Dragon Roll, Alaska Roll, desserts.Let's start with the Starters: The carpaccio was a bit thick for my taste therefore it reminded me more of Sashimi, the Gyoza was only ok, as it only tasted of salted pork mince,no other ingredients like onions or cabbage, as i have had before in other japanese restaurants, the karaage was deep fried so long, it wasnt only crispy but hard and dry on the inside, also it wasnt seasoned, so i ended up just eating it with the squeezed lemon. Now the rolls: I was really excited for the Dragon Roll, i Love avocado and prawns tempura! so perfect combo for me! so imagine my disappointment as i discovered the tempura on the inside was soft and cold! :( seems like the tempura isnt freshly made to order, but more or less prepared before the shift begins...)We also had the Alaska roll which as you can see in the attached pictures was more rice than anything else, really sad especially if you know that this roll costs 14,20â¬!!The desserts were not all to bad, we hade the Milkpudding and the Yuzumousse, the Yuzumousse bas basically a cake with yuzucream and yuzu jelly , the milkpudding was coconutmilk pudding with a jasmine tea sauce, which turned out to be the highlight of my evening. All in all a disappointing evening for a somewhat high price.Definitely will not recommend.

A really good experience of food and service. Ripoff prices....Sushi and Sashimi are way apart from a great Micherlin Star experience..its just ordinary Japanese food! Whý so expensive? Boring! Where does this hipe come from? For a Michelin Star, I am ready for something new! Creative! I did not find that at that evening. The service was okay, but nobody had any idea about the wines...how could You get a Michelin Star?

Welcome to QOMO Restaurant & Bar - Enjoy Modern Japanese Fusion Kitchen & Cocktails above the roofs of Düsseldorf. We are looking forward to your visit!
Had a reservation for an anniversary celebration, had it booked for 3 weeks, arrived and it was closed! A rubbish note on a locked door saying closed for technical issues. I understand these things happen but the restuarant had all our contact details and they could have let us know prior to us wasting our time making our way there.

The food was horrible . Not fresh and the vegetable decoration was obviously reused several times. To enhance taste it is suspected that they use large quantities of a food additive called monosodium glutamate (MSG). Some of the colleagues suffered symptoms like headache, skin flushing, and sweating shortly after dinner. One colleague had irregular heart beat and needed to go to the hospital. MSG is often blamed for these symptoms.

Food was absolutely delicious: we took chicken in mango-coconut, beef with curry noodles and veggie noodles as main course. All was very tasty and nicely flavoured. Everything was freshly prepared, but we did not had to wait too long. Itâs an open kitchen which was clean.Cosy to sit and really friendly staff.Price-quality is excellent.

KAIZEN- Tradition trifft Moderne. Authentische japanische Küche, zubereitet von unseren traditionellen japanischen Köchen ,trifft auf modernes Ambiente.
I live around the corner from this great little sushi place and have had their food plenty of times and no matter whether I eat in or take out, the food is always on point.Value is also great and waiting times (again whether to eat in or take away) are so much quicker than other similar restaurants. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The meal comprises of an eat as much as you like buffet of cold starters and side dishes (including salads and sushi) and various meats and large shrimps that you cook yourself on a barbeque in the middle of your table. Desserts are limited to three choices of ice cream.Recommended for about â¬35 a head for the bbq and two beers.

My wife and I were shown to a table. Our order was taken fairly promptly - the only prompt action of out experience. Our drinks arrived after ten minutes of ordering. Ages later, my soup was delivered. It was getting cold so my wife insisted that I consume it. As I was finishing, her soup arrived. About half an hour went by. Our small plate of chips was delivered. They had gone cold by the time the fried rice arrived. I asked for the food to be taken away unless all items were to be delivered together, straight away. I was assured that they were on their way. They weren't. Another five or ten minutes passed before they arrived. The rice and seafood with beansprouts were acceptable, but the sweet & sour fish was shocking. It was basically a breaded piece of plaice cut into slices and placed on top of a dodgy s&s sauce. We were impressed, on arrival, that there was a table of 10 Chinese people - a good sign, we thought. As our evening drew on, many other about another 20) Chinese people arrived to eat - and it became clear that they received more favourable treatment than us. To say that the occasion was disappointing is an understatement. Needless to say, I didn't leave a tip on top of the 55 euros bill.
