In the past few years they have either hired new cooks or changed their menu's as there has been a big upgrade in the food quality. Always bountiful servings of your favorite apps and diner selections. If you're in the Pine Point, Scarborough area, this is a good choice for Asian fare. Only drawback is that the counter service is not good. Feel like you did somehitng wrong if you ask a question.

On recommendations from friends my husband and I went to BaoBao for my birthday. We ordered from the cold, hot and dumpling selections followed by a delectable dessert. We loved everything and canât wait to go back. I 100% recommend it. Fabulous food, fun decor and excellent service:)

This is a friendly and pleasant place to eat. The menu (for lunch and I think dinner) lets you choose one item from each of two columns. My friend and I are not small eaters, but neither of us came close to finishing what we ordered, which in each case was two items. We very much enjoyed our meal. My friend was very happy with his curried ramen, but I found the carrot and daikon salad which he ordered (he let me taste) to be a bit bland. I had the pokedon, an bowl which looked small compared to my friend's soup, but turned out to be ample. There was quite a lot of tuna chunks and cucumber, and a great deal of seasoned rise underneath (mayonnaise-based?), and hint of spiciness. I also had the brussels sprouts, which have long been a favorite of mine here -- roasted and full flavored with a sauce which seems soy-based.I noticed sushi rolls being served to other diners, and they are about twice the size of what would normally be seen in a sushi place.I find myself wondering if it could become possible to get two smaller salads, instead of the one enormous one. Regardless, while this is more than I would usually spend for lunch, it is good value, especially if you are hungry.

Traditional truly-Thai fare and inspired specials. Strictly fresh Sushi. Innovative top-shelf cocktails, a pleasing array of premium beer and select wine. All served in a warm inviting atmosphere. Visit us at our Scarborough, Maine location today
Great food, the three dishes we tried were very authentic.Rad na, very good. Sauce was on point, noodles were perfect, perfect white boy spicy.Basil fried rice, yeah the absolute best version of this dish my wife has ever had. Curry puffs were tasty, dipping sauce was the only thing that could use improvement. Could have had more spice.Thai iced coffee......

Ive eaten here before but I must say the food is much lower quality. The hot and soup soup had a gelatinous broth as it was made 3 days ago and reheated. The chicken was the lowest quality, rubbery and tasteless. Next time I'll do thai.

Decided to try Jojo's. A very pleasant surprise. It is a very small place, has about 7 tables. We did take out. Thai wings, Shrimp Pad Thai and House Fried Rice with Crispy Duck. All were delicious, good size portions, and good prices!

Last minute decision to go there on a Saturday night and didnât have to wait too long to get in, but worth it. The people were very friendly, the food was pretty quick to come out. A very lively atmosphere. Chicken skewers, beef skewers, bike choy, Brussels spouts, bacon wrapped asparagus and dates were all fantastic.

Asian-inspired cuisine made with love.
We are return visitors and last ate here in 2015. I can say that in 2019 the food is still just as great and delicious. The Panang Curry Vegetables and Tempeh is my favourite and the homemade lemonade. This restaurant is really popular so it's worth making a booking at peak times.

I took advantage of a very cold March day to stop at Thai 9 for a bowl of soup. Having recently moved to the area, I wasn't familiar with the restaurant. I tried the tom yum noodle soup, and it was one of the best Thai soups I've ever had -- and I've had hundreds since it's a favorite cuisine of mine. The broth flavor, the perfect match of ingredients -- it was superb. I was disappointed that they only serve beer and wine for alcohol -- no Mai Tais! -- but if the rest of the menu is as good as the soup, so what. Small place but nice atmosphere, especially for a tiny strip mall restaurant. They seem to have a lot of take-out customers, and I'll soon be one of them.
