Little walk from city centre and not that easy to notice, because they only have small signs on their window. Friendly waiter(owner?), but unfortunately she was working alone, so it took over 45mins to get our take away dinner, although there weren't that many customers. Place isn't that big and interior is what you can imagine for Thai restaurant. But we forgot every "negative" thing, when we taste their food. Authentic, spicy Thai. Every ingredient tasted fresh and it was absolutely great. We will definitely go back, but next time we will call our order first :)

Real Thai Food with reasonable price in a friendly atmosphere and good service. Located in the middle of Turku. Lunch time buffet and a la carte in the evening.
A business dinner here with colleagues and customers. We had shrimp salad, papaya salad and satay chicken as the starters and massaman curry, chicken coconut soup and Pad Thai with shrimps as the main course. Fried ice cream ball as the dessert. Oh man. It was extremely delicious. Staff was super friendly ad helpful and what really amazed me was their selection of wines and beers - not that usual for a Thai restaurant! Now there are not many authentic Thai restaurants in Turku and you should definitely visit this one if around here.

We are an Indian/Nepalese restaurant based in Turku Finland. We serve fresh & delicious nan breads and curries. Visit our website for more!
We went there with the family on a Sunday. It is a quiet and cosy place with a nice atmosphere. My wife ordered The Special Chicken as it was lactose free. She really liked it as it was "filling, flavorful but not overly spiced". It had cashew nuts that gave it a nice crunchiness. I had the Butter Chicken which was mild but flavorful and very good. The rice that came with it was excellent white Basmati rice which did not stick together, much like Persian rice (I am half Persian!). Our older son (11) had the Small Lamb Korma from the children's menu. He is very picky with food so he only ate half of it. I ate the rest of it and it was very good. Our youngest (5) had chicken nuggets and fries. When he asked for more ketchup they immediately brought more. So very good service to both children and adults. For desert we got the Mango Lassi and Fried Banana. Both were absolutely divine! The price for all of this was very reasonable.

I took away a lunch dish, Chicken in red curry. So tasty and fresh! The chili was just enough to not get your mouth to burn but make the flavour rich. Definitely will come again.

Being a Australian in Finland I'm amazed at the 10 euro lunch deals they have everywhere, but this one stood out. Situated in a little market-like center kado sushi was the perfect little lunch to have, not too much food but good value for money. Fresh fish, sticky rice, and a beautiful miso soup before the meal. If I could have a whine about something, it would be that they didn't have any English menus. Thanks kado!!

Quite good vegetarian food, all portions seem to include quite a lot protein (tofu, seitan, beans); in fact more than necessary (in my opinion). There are now four restaurants in Turku or neighboring towns; one in the centre (near the railway station). In fact they are more like stalls, with a few tables and seats, but they will be more tempting during the summer. One portion was 7,50 euros, an ok price.

I needed something tasty without having to wait an age for it to be produced and Delhi Darbar hit the spot. The chicken in mango sauce was excellent, there was plenty of it, they had cold indian beer and I didn't have to wait. Very friendly waitress also. But...........when I asked about the wifi, they said they did have it (I had already found two wifi networks in the restaurant's name) but they didn't give the password out to customers! Really? In the 21st century? So they lose a point for that.

Continuing the Izakaya tradition Karu offers food and drink in a laid back atmosphere. Our dishes are designed to be shared between the entire table, or at least good friends. Made from the freshest ingredients our food respects Japanese culture with a mo
Although we are not so fond of sushi we booked a table from Karu. Starters was something totally different than sushi: tiger prawns with chili mayo, small softshelled crayfish burger and ribs with a perfect glazing/sauce. So perfect! For the main course we got sushi which was also good.

There's generally no shortage of Chinese joints in Finland, but most of them are characterized by being pretty affordable and also indistinguishable from each other, the latter also applying to their different dishes.Yangtze strives to rise above this crowd by offering less paper lanterns and more of a modern dining experience with snappy interior design, nice tableware and some extra attention to how the dishes look as well as taste. This is also reflected in the prices. For those prices, you get some rather tasty food, though especially the starters are very, very pricey for the amount that you get. True, a lot of love must have gone into the dumplings, but you'd expect more than a small handful of them.As said though, what you do get is at worst tasty and at best inspired, and Yangtze does obviously stand apart from its more traditional counterparts. So, if you got a craving for Chinese, but have company that you wouldn't like to take down to your favorite grease pit, this is the solution right here. Just know that your wallet is going on a diet, even if you aren't.
