Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Pokhara. Most visitors to Pokhara stop here before starting or after finishing the "Round Annapurana" trekking route. Because of its popularity with travelers, the city itself has relatively modern hotels and restaurants, but you’ll also find ancient lakes, waterfalls and gorges, and, of course, majestic views of the Himalayan Mountains.

Our own "Small Farm" just outside Pokhara fueled our passion for fresh ingredients, so most of our food is prepared without chemicals, additives and preservatives. Please join us in supporting local farmers keeping money in our own community and unnecessa
Dropped in just like that and had a pasta Siciliana (a revelation after so many curries). Very delicious, fine service, reasonable prices and clean washrooms! Recommended (also for dinner)!

Had a good lunch with friends! I was recommended Chicken tikka curry & pizza and it was a good pick - great in flavour. Service was good. Overall had a good lunch but will say that cocktails need improvement. Due to the good reviews we really looked forward having a healthy meal in a nice environement; well, we couldn't have been more mistaken. We've been for a while now here in Nepal, and this isn't real nepali food (for example: momos comes with 'chutney' red hot sauce and somehow this ones came with a grey sauce¿?)We ordered a Dal (lentles) Bhat (rice) plate, and came with no lentles at all, which came 15 minutes later saying they had forgot. And for sure they had forgot, it came a yellowish soup with black ingredients. It seemed as if it had burnt and they had added water. At the end of the meal, when we told the dish was burnt, she picked up a black thing, smelled it, and trying to explain the situation, told us it was garlic. Well, not only lentles were burnt also half of the ingredients. The time between dishes was horrible. Nepal is one of those countries were the meal is prepared at the moment and doesn't take them more than 15 minutes (of course, it depends, but we're compairing it to similar dishes we've had) . In Tara's restaurant, we waited more than 25 min just for the first dish, and 15 min more per each plate we ordered, nearly 50 minutes not eating, just waiting (not taking into account the dal/lentles issue). We couldn't understand..It's very pricey. Normally, we foreign people tend to change the currency type and think it's cheap; well, it is not. For a plate of rice with beans and some coconut, they should charge between 150-200 top. We payed 300 for the dish, with no lake view, no fancy restaurant or no hygiene at all (we've seen coakroaches).Regarding how we're treated; it really sorprised us how, when a few people entered that seemed more tourist than us, they gave them a warmth welcoming, presenting themselves and the restaurant; when we didn't even get a simple 'Namaste' ... We couldn't understand how we were misstreated this way, we're also foreign (Spanish) and are paying the same touristic prices...It was a waste of time and money. We hope this review helps people not to get as dissappointed/upset as we were.

We have visited this restaurant twice so far during our visit to Pokhara. Both times we were amazed at not only the quality of the food but the quality of the service. The cocktails are also good to try, but do not leave without trying their speciality ice cream cake, machhapuchhre kiss. It is delicious.

We loved it here! Incredible views of the mountains and waterfront. Plus the food was exceptional. We had the cheese platter and cocktails and we are so pleased we dropped in. Actually on the cocktails order them all. So so so so tasty and high quality!

A great place to hang out with friends and families while enjoying delicious local foods, especially Momo. Enjoy low prices but high quality food and service with high speed WIFI while you wait for your meal.
We came here because it was round the corner from the hostel and was cheap. Unfortunately they couldn't make the veg momo's vegan so we opted for other stuff on the menu and were not disappointed. The masala papad's were delicious because of a certain spice we could not ascertain, the veg noodle thukpha was a large bowl and filling and the aloo masala roll was so tasty and a great size. All this plus great service and cheap prices.

Lovely view of lake from the 2nd level of the restaurant. Go all the way to the back where the balcony overlooks the hills and lake.Friendly service staff, one even helped my dad up the 2 flights of stairs to the upper level restaurant.Good mix of western and local food. The chicken briyani and mutton curry with local chapatti bread was flavourful.

I ordered a whole lots of food, korean chicken and Ddukbbokki. All foods including the food on the house were great and the mood also nice. When I visit again next time, I will try to drink korean vodka called Soju. .Sarang is Love...^^ì¹í¨ê³¼ ë¡ë³¶ì´ë¥¼ 먹ììµëë¤ ã ã ì´ë°ììì ì¬ê¸°ì ë§ë³¼ììëê²ë ì¢ìê³ í¹í ì¹í¨ë§ì ë무 ë§ì ë¤ììµëë¤! ê°ì´ëì¤ë 기본ë°ì°¬ë í¬ì¥í´ê°ê³ ì¶ìì§ë§ íêµì¸ìì¡´ì¬ì ê·¸ë¬ì§ëª»í´ ìì½ìµëë¤^^;. í¸ëí¹ëì ë¬ë°§íì를 ì¸ì³¤ì§ë§ íêµì¸ì ê·¸ëë íìíìì´ì§ìë íë ìê°ì ì´ê³³ì íµí´ í´ë´ ëë¤.

I don't write place reviews but this place made me feel that I should start appreciate them through this platform. If you visit this place then you would love to try Leminated MO:MO and the Fried Octopus. The Octopus tastes so strong that I could not stop myself from eating. Leminated MO:MO on other side had very well made honey sauce. It was my first experience of having such food. Like no other restro in Pokhara provided me with such food. Me and my friends did like the pineapple cake too. You would never regret visiting this place. Dear ankur_nepali,Glad to hear that you enjoyed our mo:mo and octopus dish. Overall we highly appreciate the nice comment. Please find us again at iBlues to try out our new fish dishes and desserts from the menu.Kind regardsTeam iBlues
