This is a very good restaurant and really not expensive. Unless you have an enormous appetite you will not finish most of the dishes, so consider sharing one order with two. Recommended highly also for take out. They have a broad range of Chinese dishes adapted to the Western tastes mostly derived from the Cantonese style, don't expect any special dishes from a particular region in China, for this you have to go to Chinese restaurant in The Hague or Amsterdam, the Leiden area doesn't offer any regional Chinese cuisines.

I ended up walking into Wokalicious right as they were closing. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. There are so many combinations you can make with the menu. Being my first time, they offered suggestions on good combinations and let me sample some of the sauces. The food was so delicious! Even though I was the last customer of the night, all of the ingredients tasted fresh, especially the veggies. My husband tasted my meal and regretted not getting his own meal as well. If we had more time in Leiden, we would have gone back again. Definitely worth a try and easy to take away.

Having lived in Bangkok for many years and experienced the delights of Thai food, here at Siri Thai you can enjoy the wonderful food cooked to perfection by the Thai owner in person. Inside dining is somewhat restricted however there are outside tables during the fine weather but whatever you do BOOK a table to avoid disappointment. This venue is a must for lovers of Thai cuisine. Enjoy

This was my first experience of eating Indonesian food and I enjoyed what I had. I chose one of the vegetarian main courses (Gado Gado Surakarta) which consisted of tofu, beansprouts, cabbage and chunks of what I think was compacted sticky rice. Everything was very white and plain tasting, but the peanut sauce that accompanied it was one of the nicest things I'd had in a long time and gave the food a great flavour. My friends all enjoyed their food too. It was good value for money and I'll go back again when I'm next in Leiden. I'd recommend booking as we were there on a Monday night and it was very busy.

Whilst normally on;y ordering takeaway from this restaurant , which has always been excellent , we were pleasantly surprised at the seated dining experience . The decor is wonderful and authentic with a large umbrella cascading over the dining area and beautiful murals depicting ancient Chinese scenes of battle , love and beauty . The staff are very professional and attentive . The menu options are great with something for everyone , I loved the laksa and deep fried crab and the curry is excellent too . The food is freshly prepared and there is much love and flavor oozing from their dishes . I would definitely recommend and will retunr again soon .

Critically acclaimed as the best Thai restaurant in the Netherlands by some. So, as Thailand connoisseurs I decided to surprise my girlfriend and check it out.It smelt good, when we entered. Meaning that they spices used where most definitely Thai. Always a good sign. Just as the fact that I was promptly served a small bowl of fish sauce and red and green chilly peppers when I asked for prik nam pla. You know you're in a good Thai restaurant when that happens. We started with tod nam pla (fish cakes) and spring rolls. They where very, very good.But...Service was very average. Two young member of staff (both non Thai) didn't have an clue about what Thai culture, food or what they where doing. They where simply 'waiting tables'. One member of staff wanted to take my bowl of prik nam pla away, as it wasn't finished yet after our starter. Of course it wasn't finished. It's a side dish called prik nam pla! The wait between starter and main was too lon, without any explanation or any apologies. The spices used where very good. Thai basil and strong coriander. The paneng curry however, was advertised as spicy. But it most certainly wasn't. Being a mild spicy dish in Thailand, I ate a very good paneng kai in the south of Thailand which was about ten times more spicy then this one. Girlfriend had phad ped kai, which was good. But not spicy at all. I know a Thai restaurant in the Netherlands where 'spicy' means 'spicy', just like Thailand. Very disappointing that these dishes weren't spicy at all. I'd say that someone who orders prik nam pla, would be getting a spicy dish when advertised so.Prices a bit on the high side for the service given. So, was the food good? Yes. But the best Thai restaurant in the Netherlands? Certainly not.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight. I had Satay chicken in peanut sauce which was delicious. My wife had Satay Goat in ginger sauce which the waitress said was actually lamb. I thought it tasted somewhat rancid. My wife also had meatballs and noodle soup which was too spicy for my wife's liking.

This INDIA WAY restaurant in Leiden was again advised by our youngest daughter, while she works there for RIKSJA TRAVEL and we were visiting her. The owner, for already 30 years, and his young son, were serving and advising us what to try that evening, outside on the big terrace: great shrimps Biryani, veggie Panner Korma, and Tandoori grilled Lam Tikka. All with 3 different rices and vegetables. A garlic Nan accompanying. We have eaten very tastfull Indian food, could not finish it all, but were very pleased to have learned something new of the Indian kitchen. With some refreshment drinks like cola light, bitter lemon and a dark Leffe, we paid 78,50 â¬. Parking not so far in the main street nearby.Owner, his son and owner's brother are very engaged to serve quality and deserve to return once.

Pure ingredients, full of flavor, are key at Suzie's & Van Aken's. "As a Chef and Patissier we work with products whose origin and quality are known to us. Combinations of taste are prepared for you with the utmost precision and attention. Enjoy a culinar
An eight month old hidden jewel worthy of a Michelin Star. The ingredients are real premium . An innovative cuisine yet sublet and flavorful taste, small and very attentive service I could feel the passion in the food preparation if they they keep that passion a flare soon they will be Michelin rated. I enjoyed every bit it of the experience and I would definitely skip any of the nearby rated restaurants to repeat this dinner.
