We got there at 1:30 in the afternoon and they were either out of or at the tail end of 1/2 the items they offeredHalf way through ordering, the person waiting on us left and started helping someone behind us before finishing with us.They were out of chicken potstickers so we ordered Chicken egg rolls and vegetable spring rolls. Neither were very good and we only got 2 mustards and 2 sweet sauce even though we asked for extra. They were out of Fried rice, so we had to go with Brown. I mean, how can you be out of a fried rice at a fast serve Chinese restaurant. We got an order of the Orange Chicken, which is supposed to be spicy but it was not Last, we ordered the Beijing beef but we got the very end of what they had left, which meant we did not get a full order. Too bad, because this was the best item we ate.

Seriously - I cannot believe Im letting this outta the bag but - if you have not been here and tried making your own Mongolian BBQ (Scallops, Shrimp, Beef...ect..plus the veggies....) and tasted the sushi rolls and other bar items...thanks.Seriously though...its pretty dang good...well worth the $11 and they sell beer and sake too...Did the groupon thing and made it even better...and the food is well above some of those other sushi houses....especially better than the Bushido restaurant in West Ashley... great staff too.
Located in a strip mall clean restaurant, good service. Ordered the lunch special chicken teriyaki with veggies. Hugh portions just not much flavor. The sauce on the table helped. Not busy at lunch there , maybe about 7 people. Paid about $18 for 2 and we drank water.

One of Charleston's best hibachi steakhouse for over 10 years! We have been entertaining with tricks on the grill to the birthday dances performed. Our sushi is cut to order and artfully presented. Enjoy our friendly- family atmosphere where you can enjoy
We made an reservation and still had to wait 30 minutes. When we got there they told us they were running behind about 30 minutes. The waitress is not very good at all. The cook did a good job with the food we had a family with a small child and he seem to focus on conversation with a small child more than anything else. Not very good entertainment. When waitress finally decide to bring our appetizer it was after our meal had began. Appears they did not have enough staff.

Ran across this gem nestled in Northwoods Mall while wondering what we were going to have for dinner and I am so glad that we did. There was no wait, which was a red flag on a Saturday night during the holidays but it proved to be worth it. Our waiter Brandon had a great humble attitude and made great sushi suggestions, but what topped the cake, literally was his dessert selection for us which was the Xango Cheesecake. Deep fried banana cheesecake(which thank God the banana was not overpowering) with a creamy vanilla ice cream, smothered in just the right amount of whipped cream, drizzled in chocolate sauce and garnished with fresh raspberries, one word DELICIOUS! I recommend this restaurant if your in the area and even though all the staff seemed nice make sure you ask for Brandon.

The issue here is the lack of servers. There seemed to be one server working the non hibachi area. The awkwardness comes from the management letting their kids run around. I have kids so no big deal but letting your kids actually run around the place while people are dining. The little girl comes up to the table and she is breathing all over my food, so close that her chin hit my plate. At that point enough was enough. I can't recommend this place to anyone. The food wasn't bad but I can get hibachi from numerous other places without strangers kids putting their face in my plate. It shouldn't take a review or complaint to fix the situation.

I visited twice to this restaurant one time solo and another time with a friend. I tried three fried rices and all there were delicious. The place is small and I saw atleast two group of visitors are repeat visitors and having good conversation with waiter/supplier. Prawns were really good and it was well cooked.

We had a great assortment of food. The only thing that was lacking were the spring rolls, that were heavy on rice noodles and light on any other filling. But we loved the beef noodle soup, tom ka gai, massaman curried chicken, beef salad, pad thai and beef in ginger sauce.

Lunch at Phoung Vietnamese Restaurant. Pretty busy for lunch crowd on Saturday. Very good service! Good selection of Vietnamese dishes. Prices are a little higher than other Vietnamese restaurants. Roasted pork salad was suboptimal on the amount of meat (not worth the price). Make sure you order the correct Vietnamese spring roll (especially if you don't care about fish sauce)! Loved the fact that 5-7 is happy hour even on a Saturday night. Service was good as was the food. We ordered apps to share, the food was served In a very timely manner. We will definitely return for the outdoor hibachi type meal and to try their noodle dishes and some of the other interesting cocktails.
