The lobster dish was tasty, but awfully hard to eat: big claws and no tool to get to the meat; you had to grab it with your hands and break it with your teeth! The Vietnamese rolls were great, just needed a pinch of salt; the mango salad was divine. Beware, the service can get confused. Make sure they write your order, otherwise the food doesn't arrive . Good luck!

The food is good and the lassi is fresh. Some days it is quite crowded, so large groups may want to make a reservation. The food is similar to other Indian restaurants in Nanjing, like Taj Mahal, but the decor is more appealing. Prices of the stewed dishes range from about 50-70 yuan. Starters and tandoori are cheaper.

I am not a big fan of "all you can eat and drink" but I needed some rest and chose this nearby restaurant. The staff communicated us in very bad english that if one of the group wanted a buffet menu, the others should have too, so we agreed. The dinner experience would have been good if we hadn't had a rude waiter who didn't make any effort to bring the requested dishes (3 mistakes) and beverages (had to remind him twice). Also it is a fake buffet since there are some restriction on quantities on wines and dishes out of the menu. But the worst part was the conclusion: the waiter showed up while we were eating and asked us urgently to pay. We gave two credit cards which didn't work on his machine (the only mid-range restaurant in China not accepting European Gold Mastercards) and so he got angry and ordered us to pay cash. This was the least: he wrote down and asked us a wrong total amount (540rmb instead of 594rmb) which I instisted was wrong. He started shouting in Chinese so 5 persons showed up and looked at us as if we didn't want to pay. Finally I had to calm down everyone (my wife was furious) and ask for someone speaking english to tell them the amount was wrong (inferior!!!) so with overdue apologies from the staff we paid in cash and left straight away.Never again, this is a case study of bad restaurant management, indeed the "manager" never showed up, and some excuses from the staff like "I told my boss to put a sign about non working credit cards... But he didn't" are unacceptable. In hindsight, all of the portions were very small (smaller than real teppanyaki in Japan), decent but not superb quality and for a service like that 198rmb per person is a ripoff, but all of this was worsened by the poorest staff I ever experienced.

Compared to other local Korean restaurants, this place is more on the pricier side. However, that's because the food is great! The workers are all Chinese but the owner is Korean. All the banchan they served was tasty... seriously a lot plus soup and fresh fresh, FRESH lettuce. The servers were nice but seemed just a bit lost. Went on a weekday for lunch and no one was there but then comes a crowd an hour into our meal. The atmosphere was relaxing, clean, and quiet.Best of all, the dessert they served which was shikhye. It was so refreshing and sweet and healthy. Try this place out because it taste like the food you will eat in Korea too.

The best part of the ingredients were used in the preparations. We ordered the house specialty - salted duck. It was succulent and flavorful. We also ordered in small serving size 2 cold dishes, dumplings, noodles in fish soup, tofu sheets in hot sauce, braised pork belly, a vegetable and the glutinous rice ball dessert. The server was concerned we over ordered for just the two of us. She suggested to half the small order for the 3 cold dishes. It was a great suggestion. We were able to try a few dishes without having much leftover. We were served the cold dishes first, followed by the hot dishes, then the dumplings and noodles with the dessert last. Every dish was exquisitely prepared. We were absolutely delighted with such a fine meal. The price per person was about US $ 50.00. It was a good value considering a tasting menu for 9 courses would be much higher in the US.

This restaurant has an chinese ancient market style decoration, it is very interesting and beautiful. Waiters are dressed accordingly to the old chinese style and there are small food stalls all around with traditional local dishes. Tables and chairs are a bit uncomfortable and staff cant really speak english which makes ordering a bit awkward if your chinese is not good. Food wasn't very good either, i found all the dishes very greasy and not really freshly cooked. So i will recommended just for a snack and a sneak peak at the decor but definitely not if you want to have a good dinner.

This place has great wooden "cubbies" where your party can dine in relative privacy, Chinese-style archways, and lots of paper lanterns. The service and food are mostly just okay, but I let my colleague order, so perhaps I could have found better choices. He said this is a chain and not that special of a place to eat. It's in a mall, so that could be, but the atmosphere is great.
