I have heard that starting January, the place was to be run by new management. It has been going down the hill in the past few years and it surely deserved a change for the better. Years ago, it was well staffed restaurant with sushi chefs behind the counter, wonderful selection of sushi, salads, hot foods, even desserts. Not anymore! It did not get better - quite the opposite is true, in my opinion. We arrived at 1:30 for lunch ...the large dining room was deserted, no servers or chefs to be seen. No customers. We should have left. The host upfront was not at his station when we entered, but appeared in few moments. He showed us to our table, and because he was the only employee visible to us, he also took our drink order, set the table and served the drinks. We each had few pieces of sushi and a salad. Mediocre! We then tried the hot food part of the buffet. There was enough choices and variety of trays with what was supposed to be HOT food.Well, the food turned out to be COLD. When we complained, we were told that they turned the heat off under the trays before we came. In the middle of lunch ? The small pieces of cheesecake and tiramisu were rock hard FROZEN. We located the one and only guy, and complained to him. He cleared our full plates of the cold food that we would not eat. He listened to our complaint. He comped the lunch ! Buffets, when they are done right, are great ! Food needs to be kept at the right temperature! It was totally ignored here....and we would not risk coming back....

Nikko Japanese Restaurant serves authentic Japanese Cuisine. Located in Whippany, NJ for twelve years Nikko has been voted Best Japanese by New Jersey Monthly Readers Choice Awards. Traditional Japanese style Tatami room available for both regular dining
I tried their Shogayaki for the first time. It's basically thinly sliced meat (chicken/pork/beef your choice, different prices) stirred fried in a sweet and savory sauce with some shredded veggies. The flavor was good. The dish is reasonably filling. I am 5'8'' 168# male who eats sensibly. The dish comes with a side salad (ginger dressing, yum) and miso soup. After tax and pre-tips, the final bill was less than $10. It has great value.

Been eyeing this place for a dogs age and finally visited with the spousal unit today. Very credible fusion French Thai cuisine. Generous potty, reasonable prices. BYOB. The red and green curries were correctly prepared, not overly Americanized. We will come back to try dinner. This is a small family owned place without the pretense of some of it's close neighbors.

The interior has been nicely renovated and has the contemporary black furnishings. However, there is nothing to deaden the sound and as such we wound up having to raise our voices to hold a conversation when the place was mostly filled. The menu has a broad array of traditional dishes. The roti cani was correctly prepared but the accompaniment was neither spicy or with any significant curry flavor. The Malaysian curry puffs suffered the same fate. The satay sauce was very runny and lacked any strong peanut taste, probably the result of the thinned nature of the sauce. No one encountered a cashew or a piece of pineapple in the duck salad despite being described as ingredients in the salad. Our entree were better but there was a consistent lack of spice or heat. There is a sidewalk sign indicating there is parking in the rear. A benefit in Morristown. However, you need to know about it and have initiated a turn onto a small driveway before the restaurant and before you can see the sidewalk sign when approaching from the green heading towards the RR station.

3 of us stopped by here for lunch before our way to the airport. The ambience is very cool. its a small restaurant but doesn't seem claustrophobic or cramped. The service was very warm and friendly. We had a variety of items including chili garlic noodles, burnt fried rice, Sichuan, kung pao and chilli fried entrees and appetizers in paneer, lamb, chicken and shrimp. They also had an option of a 3 course lunch for just $17. Reasonable prices, good service, very flavorful food and a good draft beer selection. Would definitely return

It's a family oriented restaurant. Great for "getting together with friends", "eating out with the family", & "business dinner/lunch meeting". We served many different cuisines in Japanese, Thai and Asian. We can accommodate reservations. We always take c
We've eaten here three times since finding out about the place from a local. Also had a meal delivered once.So far everything we've tried exceeds expectations and that includes something from each of their main categories. Best Pad Thai we've ever had.Without question, Mintea has quickly become one of our go to places. The menu is vast and perhaps overly complex but so far everything has been good. The Thai style foods are made without some key ingredients, Thai chilies and galangal, it's good not great and don't expect much heat. Spicy dishes have mild heat ... won't scare anyone off!

I owned a sushi restaurant and we've been afraid to eat locally. Asahi was recommended by our current customers who live in Mo town and it was spectacular. A small place but everything is served with love. The quality is tops and the servers aim to please. The homemade soy sauce is special. We will be regulars.
