We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Jacks seeing all the authentic Thai decoration, it made us feel quite at home as we previously lived in Thailand for 4 years. So as you can imagine we have high expectations in relation to the food and what we like!Well letâs just say we were not disappointed,We started with the chicken satay which had the most tasty peanut sauce, then we had the coconut prawns which were a good size and perfectly crunchy and so so good! Then for the mains a very full flavoured, tender chicken yellow curry and then our favourite dish we generally order every time was the massaman curry this time with lamb... it was absolutely mouth wateringly tender and very full of wonderful Thai spice flavour!!!!! So so very happy with our meals! Just wish we lived closer to this fab Thai restaurant Well done Jack!!!!
At Aaaroma Classic ..experience truely Indian Flavour from across India and Indian Sub continent. Our range includes Tandoori Dishes,Curry,Chats,Dosas and Sweets.
A new addition to Mittagong, curries are the specialty here, full of flavour, spices and great value too. They have a Bain Marie with the more popular curries for lunch and dinner. But if you have some time, ask them to make a curry of your choice from the extensive a la carte menu. As I prefer my curries hot, I ordered a Lamb Vindaloo which was full of flavour and spiciness. The Chilli Chicken, Chicken Mughlai is also recommended, both of which can be as spicy or mild as you wish. You can taste all the spices and ingredients that make up the curry. Prices are very reasonable, Vegetable Samosas also excellent if you're extra hungry. It's early days yet, but Aaaroma Classic has made a great start and I truly hope they keep up the quality and value.
I ordered and then watched as my food was prepared.Same dirty bowls used for preparation without even rinsing Floor filthyRaw meat just sitting around uncovered Advertises as fresh , but I saw many items straight from a frozen packet Give this one a miss. I did
We had a short visit to the township of Mittagong as we returned from the Wombeyan Caves and we are glad we stopped at the Vietnamese Restaurant. Although the name of the restaurant was not inspiring the food certainly was. On par with some of the other Vietnamese restaurants located in metro the food was excellent and served in a timely manner. The whole fried snapper, the entree chicken balls it was all delish! Price wise it was not too bad. The service was great and the meals came out in a timely manner despite the number of dinners and take away orders. Highly recommended.

I go there for the âMoreâ, the Bento box more, in fact. I also like the fast service, pleasant staff and decor done in that Tokyo back-street style. Not expensive for lunch.Bento, I am told, is about convenience. Japanese mothers assemble bento for their childrenâs lunch. Lucky kids! I got peanut butter sandwiches for six years till I realized there were other options. For me, Bentoâs about the variety. My beef bento had perfectly-sized small portions of tender bbq beef, tuna on radish, salad & kewpie mayo, miso, rice, crabstick, beans, and more.If Iâd gone to school with a Bento box rather than peanut butter sandwiches, Iâm pretty sure I would have studied harder. Are you listening out there, mothers?

A fantastic restaurant with friendly and efficient service. I'm fortunate enough to travel (and eat) in Asia regularly and House of Lowe is incredibly authentic and won't disappoint if you are seeking a great Chinese meal whilst in the southern highlands. Great value for money. Very fast food service.

This is the only Chinese restaurant in Bowral and it has the usual lineup of dishes. Whilst not fine dining, it is reliable and as you would expect. The decor is very authentic Chinese style which makes for a nice atmosphere. Used primarily as a local takeaway.

Tried Orange again tonight. Nothing has changed. Asked 3 times for chopsticks. 3 times for our drinks to be served...hello owners you missed out on another 4 drinks worth $28 because we waited so long for our initial order of drinks, and I had to ask 5 times, YES 5 times for a side order of chillies. Have nothing good to say about the waiter, yes he was busy, but to be walking around with his hand behind his back as if he was in a 5 star restaurant, clearing tables whilst people waited for food to be served, is not a happy dining experience. Nothing good to say. Amen

Came here on a recommendation from our accommodation host. We wanted something light for dinner and our host suggested Toshi's. We called 15 minutes prior to arrival to make a booking in case it was busy, but for a Friday night after 8.15pm it wasn't busy. You can opt to sit the modified Japanese way (sitting on the floor with a cutout under the table so that your legs can be placed comfortably) or at the normal dining table. We ordered a plate of takoyaki and a sashimi and sushi platter to share. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. And the chef is Japanese (and not Koreans like most other places are).

Authentic Thai cuisine with real flavour and prepared exceptionally well. Comprehensive menu with good vegetarian options. Ambience could use some flair, otherwise this is five star. Highly recommended! C&R
