A couple friend invited us for lunch. Perhaps I am not the best to rate this restaurant as I am not keen to try anything that doesnât look appetizing. Other than a few items in the buffet bar, I didnât find anything delicious. I didnât want to disappoint my friends but just didnât enjoy...

I highly recommend this restaurant as an equal but 1/2 price option to the popular keepers sushi house that is nearby. Their fresh catch of the day is always good and the rolls superb. Service is quicker and the menu is extensive.

Spending a week in Sugar Land, which has a very large Vietnamese-American community, so I decided to try some pho joints, starting with the one that had the highest TA rating. I concur with others that this is very good pho. One tip-off is that the pho should come with a side dish of bean sprouts, hot peppers, and herbs. If the herbs merely consist of cilantro, hmmm, not so good. If they include one or more obscure Vietnamese herbs with incredibly complex flavours, that significantly improves their pho. The menu at Pho Ben indicated that you get sprouts and cilantro, but in actuality the side dish had lots of a flavourful Asian herb, in addition to the cilantro, and had two lime wedges that were each about one-quarter of a lime: so you get to squeeze in plenty of lime juice as well. See the Herb Plate photo: the photo shows both the pho bowl and herbs, but the herbs are the impressive part. The other noteworthy plus was that they did not stint on the beef; there was plenty of it in the bowl. The total cost of the dinner was under $8. I'll enjoy comparing this to other Vietnamese restaurants here, but I probably will swing around to Pho Ben at least one more time to try their Bahn Mi. Lots of parking, and a relatively convenient central location. I definitely recommend: it would be a good lunch stop if you were heading down I-69 between Victoria and Houston.

This is the Indian Fogo de chao, itâs such a fun experience. You donât have a menu, you sit down at your table, with your silver tray of wonders in front of you. Then the magic begins, the servers, one by one bring a different dish. They start with your appetizers, next your veggies, then the daalâs, bread, and you finish with the rice. Itâs all you can eat, and I went for two maybe three rounds now, I will warn those who are sensitive to spice, itâs no joke here. I recommend lunch or an early dinner, we made the mistake of going for a late dinner. Had to have me some tums later on that night. The service was excellent, will go back for lunch. I hear weekends thereâs a wait. Itâs so cool that this is the only one in the states, itâs a chain from India. Fun food experiences are something we're always looking to create, and we're thrilled that you had a blast! You're right about this being our only U.S. location, so it's safe to say, you won't get an experience quite like ours anywhere else around! Thanks for the review, and we're hoping to see you again soon. All of the best,The Team at Maharaja Bhog

Nice neighborhood sushi spot, good service and ambiance, almost always busy. Always happy hour prices, but still pricey: rolls are $10 or less, but theyâre small. Wish they have more rolls options. The room in the back is a little quieter than the main room. Love their Christmas tree with dancing ornaments!Hi mariarenyut - We're very sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with us recently. We hope you'll give us another chance to make things right!

Right in the heart of Sugar Land Town Square, our local friends brought us here and we're glad they did. A generally nice atmosphere, very neat and tidy, with very friendly and accommodating wait staff. We started off with appetizers of Veggies Tempura, which is a medley of squash or zuccini, brocolli, sweet potatoes and I don't know what else, but it was delicioius, along with soy sauce and ginger sauce for dipping. Another was their edamame, also very good. For dinner, we ordered a large sampler of sushi rolls of Shaggy Dog, Rock & Roll, and a few others. All were exceptional and delicious. If I'm ever this way again, I'll come back. Reasonably priced.
