This place has been in business a long time and is popular with a regular set. Rarely full, but they seem to do a steady take out trade. Unlike the old days, they close fairly early. The door says one thing but you get inside and get told the kitchen may be closed if you arrive at 8:30pm. They have a great list of lunch combo specials at good prices, I think that makes lunch fairly popular. Food is ready quickly and appears very fresh. I find that the regular menu dishes are getting more and more expensive for the same old thing. The staff always seem to be pressured by the management instead of relaxed and easy. For the most part they serve standard North American chinese food where szechuan isn't really that.

Stopped at Mission for late lunch at 3.30 pm.After checking out a few restaurants we decided to go for Japanese food.We ordered Nigiri Combo, scallop roll, beef teriyaki and beef udon. Food was good.I enjoyed the hot bowl of udon. The scallop roll was good .Service friendly and very good.Free WiFi available.Street parking.

Hot and sour soup is really good. The service is average though. Glad they don't use MSG. Heard the dim sum is okay.

This place should be way up the Sushi list. I suspect it's because of it's location somewhat...lost in the expanse of Junction Mall. Great parking though! It is licensed...and there is nothing like a large Kirin to go with your spicy tuna!We have tried 6 of the 8 places in Mission, and while they were all good to varying degrees, Junction was overall the best!

anyone who has aten here I am surprised they did not get food poisoning... prices may seem cheap, but thats because the quality of food is.. they didnt even offer a NON farmed salmon option for an upcharge.. only farmed disgusting salmon at this place ew... not to mention the rotten gomai we had.. worst experience i have EVER had in a restaurant.. my boyfriend, 1 year old neice and i went there for lunch after never being there.. first disapointment about the farmed salmon.. then we each had one bite of the gomai and spat it out because how rotten it tasted... we politely sent it back.. the young server informed us upon bringing our bill for our mediocre food that the gomai was not taken off as there was nothing wrong with it.. i felt bad because it wasnt her fault but this really upset me.. you do not refuse to take an item off a paying customers bill when they did not eat it.. when they complained about it.. the lady started getting really upset refusing to take it off.. she yelled and screamed at me.. her husband came from the back and she started freaking out at him too.. I told her I would not pay until she took it off.. lets get this straight,, this was 4 dollars she was screaming at me in the restaurant in front of my 1 year old neice about... obviously business isnt doing so good- I now know why. another customer stood up for me and eventually she took it off the bill.. after us argueing back and forth for over 15 minutes.. so unprofessional and absolutely disgusting behaviour from a business owner.. save your money.. seriously they do not deserve your business even if you like farmed fish

This little eatery is tucked away at the eastern end of the Mission Junction Shopping Centre. It boasts a small but attentive staff and a fair selection of dishes to try. On our first visit, I was not impressed with the meal that was served. For someone who was expecting a spicy meal, it seemed quite bland. However, on a re-visit, I tried the Tom Yum and it was excellent; so much so that went back and ordered it again - and it was as good as on the previous visit. My wife has enjoyed most of the meals that she has ordered and it is usually fairly busy at lunchtime so finding a table may be a challenge.

We had a nice meal on Friday and just before we left, I went to the washroom. There was a staff member at the urinal so I ducked into the toilet stall. I heard the staff member finish up while I was in the toilet compartment and then I heard the water from the sink run for as long as it takes to say "Sushi Te" and then immediately heard the main restroom door open. There is a hand towel roll sitting on the edge of the sink and I didn't hear it being ripped nor was there time for the employee to unroll some and rip it off and dry his hands.I phoned Sushi Te 10 minutes later when we got home and was told that the manager was not in and wouldn't be back until Monday. I left my name and phone number for her to call me and she never did. I told the cashier over the phone that I would be publishing my account of the events on TripAdvisor if the manager did not get back to me. They don't seem to care. Should you care if they don't properly wash their hands before going back to cook in the kitchen?

Two of us decided to try this place for dinner as we have heard a lot about it, and there is not much in the way of Chinese food in Mission. It was fairly busy, and there were lots of people waiting for takeout. We decided to share a dinner for one, with chicken chop suey, sweet and sour pork and chicken chow mein, and a large bowl of wor won ton. The food was average at best. The won ton was not very good at all. The service was absolutely terrible, and the restaurant itself is kind of worn out and run down. I would drive to a different restaurant in Abbotsford or Maple Ridge rather than return to this one. Thanks for your review. Sorry you didn't enjoy your dine in experience. We stand by our quality of food and our servers are expected to a maintain a high level of service. Unfortunately as there are busy evenings we do our best to keep up with the steady flow of traffic and attend to all customers in accordance. Our restaurants also been renovated within the last few years and is always clean. Hope you can give us another chance in the future!

Just had dinner here on Friday, I was very pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent, friendly, helpful and attentive. Our came out very quickly and was delicious. I had the fish and chips, one portion of fish is plenty with hot crisp fries, tartar sauce and coleslaw. My husband had the bbq pizza which is cooked in theyâre fancy pizza oven. It looked and tasted delicious. We did walk by the buffet and were very tempted. The food looked very very fresh and nicely presented. We passed as we wanted to try out the menu first. I highly recommend, in fact next time weâll bring out grandkids as itâs child friendly.
