Excellent! Arrive early! We arrived at 11:15 for lunch and there was a line. We were seated at 11:25. You are greeted at the entrance and an employee reviews the ramen choices. All choices were throughly explained by the greeter. Itâs a small restaurant with BIG Japanese flavors. Itâs excellent and we will return for more. Ramen Nagi was also voted as one of best restaurants.

We've eaten at nearly 10 sushi places in the SF Bay peninsula and Naomi Sushi, despite its small size (there are only ~10 small tables with a bar facing the chefs, seating 6-8) is possibly the best in terms of fish freshness/quality and size of the sashimi and nigiri. Most Japanese restaurants in SF Bay area have only one sushi chef making all the sashimi, nigiri and sushi, but Naomi has 3 and they are kept busy. We highly recommend their fresh appetizers (especially miso-glazed black cod), Omakase (chef's creation of nigiri), and seared bonito sashimi (raw on the inside). The color, frweshness and size of the cuts of fish were bigger than many Japanese sushi restaurants I've had anywhere. Their tempura and grilled white fish was so-so. Expect to pay at least $50 per head for a sushi meal here for the quality of their sushi/sashimi.

The popular and excellent Su Hong restaurant ceased serving about three years ago and the restaurant stood vacant for more than two years. Yum Cha is a good quality restaurant to take the place of Su Hong. Yum Cha has similar dishes, flavored slightly differently, but just as good for the most part. It also has dim sum everyday which is a favorite of ours. We will return again and again.

Decent home style Japanese cooking not fine dining. For $12 you get a fried pork cutlet , grilled fish, curried potato croquette, fried surimi, salad, miso soup with bits of tofu, onions and potato, and rice. Free tea. Nice modern interiors. Difficult parking. Cheaper than McDonalds.

Other reviews of this restaurant are so off base I do not know where to begin. The dumplings had way too much dough in them, came cold, and were very greasy. The hot and sour soup was disgusting--consisting mainly of water, chili oil and a ton of slimy tofu pieces that had the most revolting consistency I have ever experienced. The shrimp dumplings - which I usually love for their filmy character- were gelatinous, tasteless, and covered with way too much rice paper, a little like glue. We will most definitely not be back. Did I mention expensive as well?

I don't know where to start. I guess I'll start with the bowl of fried dough sprinkled with sugar that came out with tea while we were reading the menu...not chips and salsa, not bread, but amazing tiny doughnut strip things! The Hot and Sour soup was amazing! The pot stickers have ruined ALL pot stickers for me, the Mongolian Beef, I have no words! The dipping 'sauce' for the pot stickers was so good, I think I could drink it! BE WARNED! The portion sizes are HUGE! My husband ordered a SMALL Hot and Sour soup, we both ate it, we have leftovers! We actually have leftovers of everything! The menu also has very traditional/authentic Chinese items! I can't wait to go back! Enjoy!

A fantastic blend of Southeast Asian ingredients, spice & herbs, making Black Pepper a delicious & fun place to visit. Black Pepper's heritage: a delightful diversity Malay, Thai, Indian and Chinese. Come, share this exciting Tropical Malaysian experience
Reviewing the menu, you might think it's just another Asian restaurant. For instance, the pad thai noodles are not like what you find in the typical Thai restaurant. These are much better and different without losing sight of what you want from that dish. The various black pepper dishes are great, especially the lamb chops.Staff is also very friendly. One slight negative is that this is an open format restaurant so it can get noisy in there.

Great venue, great location. We walked in with a reservation and got seats in this crowded restaurant right away. We ordered cocktails and appetizers followed by a full dinner meal for everyone. The cocktails were mediocre at best and they served martinis at room temperature. We asked to redo them chilled.Food was pretty good but I have had better before. I would give them a good rating but not spectacular; price is quite reasonable in fact a bit cheaper than I expected. Overall, pretty good.Thank you for the feedback! We are sorry to hear that nothing exceeded your expectations. It is our highest priority to serve the finest Burmese cuisine and always aim to make a memorable impression. We appreciate your comments and will share this with our team in the effort to keep our execution at the highest quality. Hopefully, you'll give us another chance in the near future. We'd love to have you back!

I've been to this restaurant many times over the years. Shaking beef is still a great dish, and as my title says there are moments when I really like it. I would say that it's not 100% consistent though. If someone is asking me for a recommendation for a business dinner in downtown PA on a weeknight, this is a good choice.
