Went with a couple of friends who frequent this restaurant often. This was my first visit. Friends did all the ordering and has all specialty dishes/rolls. They were very good. Had some sushi that was cooked which was very different. Service was very good

Nestled in a small shopping center in Manalapan, NJ can be missed if you dont turn into the awkward turn of US#9. My first time there, I missed it two times and had to take the jug handle, almost gave up. After the fist bite, its was all over, I was hooked. Its now our go to place for every special occasion (Birthdays, Rainy days, Sunny days, Anniversary, Festivus, etc.), you name it we find an excuse to go to Konbu. The sushi and rolls are sublime. My favorite Tuna Pizza, Tokyo Fruit and Mountain Roll. Of course the sashimi is excellent too.

The 3 mushroom soup broth was delicious. Very tasty. Nice size portion. The beef with garlic and broccoli was also perfectly seasoned. My friend said her red curry chicken and vegetables was also great. The drunken noodles were tasty and not too spicy. It was reasonably priced $6 soup and $14 main course. Plus they Usually run 15% off coupons in the local paper.

Good buffet with a variety of choices. Very good selection of sushi and Japanese fare. They donât puts a lot food out at once and are continually refilling, so food is fresh. I hadnât been to this restaurant in a couple years and it seemed a bit worn this time. Bathrooms were dirty as well. The place could use a renovation and good cleaning.

This is a very popular Chinese restaurant in town which is family owned by very hardworking people. Food is plentiful and delicious. They customize any order for dietary issues. They do a fantastic takeout business. No bells and whistles as far as the venue is concerned...very basic but service is above and beyond. Everybody knows everyone here..very local hotspot. Prices are very reasonable.
Where to eat Italian food in Marlboro: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Greeted at the door by a nice young woman who walked us through the menu and helped place our order. Then we sat until it was ready and we were called to pick it up. Everything was delicious! We tried the chicken wings, the steam pot with non-spicy chicken(with yummy veggies and crunchy rice) and the beef dumplings. We even tried the chocolate shave ice for dessert. Everything was fresh, reasonably priced, and served with a smile. Place was nice and clean. Weâll be back!

Just heard about Masa and was interested to check out the newest restaurant in town. While there is no ambience, it's definitely a worthwhile eatery because the food is delicious and inexpensive. We ordered various rolls consisting of 8 pieces in each roll. Each roll had a different texture and flavor. All were delicious and very fresh. The venue had quite a number of tables but it was jammed. No reservations taken. The hostess gives you a ticket upon entering and then you wait in a crowded vestibule. The tables turn over quickly but you can have fun meeting new friends and giggle over the hostess giving numbers out in her broken English. We had the seaweed salad and edamame to start. Loved it. Then we ordered two rolls apiece. Our friend had the Teriyaki shrimp which came with salad and soup. It was delicious. You can also have Hibachi at your table. There is something for everybody. All the sushi is always half price. The rolls are $6-7.50. The price is right. I was very impressed and happy I came. I look forward to returning.

Second time there. Had to wait for a table. 75% of crowd was Asian which was a good sign and a surprise. Hot and sour was very good. Dry Chinese noodles need improvement. Chicken lo mein was decent. Sichuan chicken was very good. Thai chicken and string beans was excellent. Good place, good food, reasonable prices.

We like the atmosphere. The service is friendly and good, but weekends are always crowded. The menu has wonderful choices and there is Dim Sum Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 1:30. Good for New Jersey. The scallion cakes need to be rolled out a bit more and the spare ribs are hearty, but need more bar b q sauce. We enjoy take out and the combination plates to support more options and sharing. The egg rolls are good and so is the fried rice. The Dim Sum makes it a value option for visiting a Chinese Restaurant in New Jersey.
