My wife and I dined here on her birthday. There is plenty to admire, most notably the delicious food in a pleasant setting, with a number of nice touches/surprises along the way. All of the dishes were excellent and nicely presented, with the lamb main course being particularly impressive. As reported by others, the service is friendly, perhaps to the point of erring towards being a tiny bit intrusive. Having been lured by the website saying their highly rated Thali was served only on Wednesdays we were disappointed to find that it was not available on that particular Wednesday - especially as we were told by way or excuse, incorrectly, that the website says that it needs to be ordered 24-36 hours in advance...it does not say that. The wine we ordered was unavailable too, which was a shame, but the alternative we selected was fine and sensibly priced. In fairness, when we were told to expect a delay between main course and dessert my wife suggested cheekily that a glass of wine on the house would be in order...and they duly obliged, which was good of them. Some reviewers have complained about the prices, but I think they are fair and justified for what is essentially Indian fine dining. Finally, no fault of the restaurant (as there was not a lot they could do about it) but our high end, intimate dinner was rather compromised by the arrival at a nearby table of a family of four that included a particularly lively, noisy and distracting 2 year old toddler in a high chair....and parents who didnât seem to care very much at all about how his antics impacted on others around them. He was just being a lively little lad, but why would you take a rowdy toddler to a place like this at 8:00pm on a Wednesday? Some, come here with confidence for great food and decent service, you are unlikely to be disappointed.

Ryan's Indian Cuisine, a fine dining Indian restaurant and the best Indian restaurant In Loughborough. We are located in the centre of Loughborough, a Modern designed Indian Restaurant.
My husbandâs daughter and her family were visiting from the States in June. Brought them to this restaurant as the food is alwa1ys spectacular. Son-in-law has travelled all over the world and eaten Indian food many, many times. After his meal he said that this was the best indian he had ever eaten. What praise. The atmosphere is very cheerful. The decor is really clean and modern. The members of staff canât do enough for you and want only to make your visit memorable, they certainly do that. When, sadly, the time comes to leave you are made to feel like dear friends.Had a takeaway delivered to us recently. Perfect! Hot and so delicious. As good as in the restaurant. When can I go next please?

Sands is an excellent Indian restaurant, and one that we frequently visit. The staff are always so welcoming. The food is excellent and the service second to none. The kitchen is amazing and so well organised, we often pop in to thank the chefs personally. The 'taster' dish is a great idea; i.e. a small sample of the main meal you have ordered comes to your table whilst you are enjoying your appetizer and gives you the opportunity to say if the spices are just right or not. So if you think it is too hot, you can ask them to make it milder, and if you want it spicier, you can ask for that too. We go every month, either the two of us, or with friends and family. We can thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

I often dine in and have takeaways from Harrison Spice. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is always very good. If dining in, you can bring your own alcohol which saves on the bill and as restaurant is in staggering distance from home also helps !!!. Will definitely be visiting again shortly with friends.

Took a dozen staff there for a meal after a few beers; can't fault anything:Beer was cold, Food was first rate.Service was excellent.Room was clean.Reasonably priced. The only downside is an old bug bear of mine and that is for a table of our size we were sat refrectory style rather than tables being squared off so that we caoukd all talk to each other rather than being 3 metres away from the someone at the end of the table.

One of the best Indians I've had in a very long time! Fab staff, warm and friendly service and utterly beautiful food. Prawn korma and coconut naan was mine and I can honestly say my mouth is watering remembering it! Highly recommended, looking forward to my next visit!

We went as a family at the last minute on arriving it was not what we expected, itâs located in the village of Barlstone, Nuneaton, itâs not a place youâd expect it to be, we visited on a Tuesday night and was quite but having children with us we found it pleasant to dine, we understand it gets very busy at the weekends and parking is limited, but there is plenty of on street parking we could have walked, but we had our grand children, staff where welcoming and very attentive to our needs, with us having a six year old and nine year old, food was amazing and plentiful starters our not recommended not in a bad way, pompadoms and dips are always favourable the best part of an Indian meal, love this place and would recommend weâll visit again, Barlstone you have treasure of a restaurant.

Food is great, staff are great. The wait for the takeaway was just as good! We went in when they were under the pump on a Saturday night so understandably there was a wait on. Obviously the thing to do at that point is enjoy some refreshments! Great atmosphere.

After going with the recommendation from out hotel receptionist we ended up at the Flying Horse for our evening meal & sooo glad we took their advice. Gorgeous, clean sumptous decor & very attentive staff creating a relaxed atmosphere for your dining experience. We went for our evening meal & were not disappointed, the ingredients were fresh & the flavours excited the tastebuds. We had butterfly chicken & the mango chasni dishes with rice, saag aloo, naan's & a bahji all of which where a delight to eat. If we are ever back in the area, then we would definatley go to eat here again.
