Filipino "cusine." I was looking for good Filipino food and was sorely disappointed. Pancit and prawns tasted "old" and lacking in flavor. Prqwns were dry. Other foods were mediocre at best. Even the standard of the Philippines, adobo, was mediocre, especially the chicken. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Not worth the trip to this strip mall hole in the wall.

My son found this place online and we enjoyed good Japanese food. They have a respectable menu of ramen, udon and donburri. Service and food was very good although no one spoke Japanese. And just not a clean place although pretty artwork. In Japan even modest restaurants like this would be very clean. If in the area again we will go back.

This unassuming place is right across Reservation Road (careful crossing!) from the hotel where I stayed in Marina. I ordered the Bulgogi Beef takeout. The price was a bit astounding, but when I got the two containers back to my room I found the bounty inside was well worth the cost. There was a huge helping of the perfectly-cooked, tender beef with onions at a just-right consistency, along with a handful of tasty sprouts and a carrot-cabbage salad. The other container held a generous portion of kimchee and an assortment of other relishes and sides ranging from the spicy to the soothing. I had leftovers two days later, so I got two delicious and satisfying meals.
For a "fast food" restaurant, each meal is freshly made and cooked to order. The selections may be small, but the combinations are plentiful. You start by selecting your protein which includes Chicken Teriyaki, Spicy Chicken, Chicken Breast Teriyaki, Beef Teriyaki, Tofu Teriyaki, Orange Chicken, and Chicken Katsu (breaded with Japanese Panko); then add steamed or stir-fry vegetables, and then choose between white or brown rice, Yakisoba noodles or fried rice. There are side dishes of macaroni salad (Hawaiian style), green salad, Endamame, Eggrolls, Crab Rangoon, and Chicken Potstickers. You can taste the freshness, since the dishes have not been sitting in a warming tray. I tried the Orange Chicken which was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. The Chicken Teriyaki was very flavorful, and the chicken tender and moist. The teriyaki sauce was not over-whelming, however, additional sauce is provided if you crave more. The portions are generous and the staff friendly and courteous. It is worth the wait for the fresh and flavorful dishes served at Teriyaki Madness. Avoid the wait, order online or call in your order.

Wonderful dinner after a day of exhausting work. We were delighted with their plentiful and tasty dishes from curry to Pad Thai. Possibly family run and you felt like you were dining at their home. Nothing extravagant but truly clean and fresh. Thai ice tea was a treat.

Been coming here for many years now. Cuisine is always fresh and flavorful. They don't use MSG and food is not overly sauced. To-go items are always ready in about 20 minutes. My husband who normally won't eat Chinese food loves this place, and he is super picky too! Never once had a bad meal here and that's saying a lot for Monterey Peninsula which is know for inconsistent dining.

We were in Marina for a long weekend and I found this place after googing "Korean bbq in marina, California." The yelp reviews looked promising so we decided to check it out. When we were driving we became a bit skeptical and almost decided to find somewhere else to eat as it is located in a residential area that looks a bit run down and depressed. The parking is interesting. Its a little building that is shared with a thrift shop and there are only a handful of spaces. Upon entering, its a nicely inviting little restaurant with a few partitioned off tables and a few tables in the open space. We were seated right away. We ordered the galbi (beef short ribs), the kimchi pancake and a noodle dish that I forget what it was called. It was glass noodles with beef and veggies, lots of mushrooms. All of it was really good. The galbi was really flavorful and tender. The noodles were tasty. The kimchi pancake was a star. It was even better with the spicy dipping sauce it comes with. This pancake is really huge. Not really what I would call an appetizer, but that's why its 13 bucks (around there if I remember correctly). Very nice assortment of banchan. It was kind of on the pricey side and other than the pancake, the portions aren't huge. But I would go back. The food really was very good and I'm sad we don't live closer. The experience has inspired me to look for a better Korean restaurant closer to us though.

Surprisingly good! Weren't expecting all that much as we hadn't done any research, only got the recommendation from the concierge at the holiday inn express - and we were DELIGHTED with the portion size and flavors - excellent quality (sweet and sour chicken plus vegetable chow mein plus fried rice) - top notch, wolfed it down and there was nothing left! Will be back next time we're in town!

Filling, vegetarian and regular options-- sort of Asian fusion. The mixed vegetables with BBQ tofu over rice vermicelli was really good. Husband's dish of eggplant & mushrooms over rice was OK but a little bland & dry. Quick and friendly service, reasonable prices. A little hard to find-- tucked behind Lee's Garden Chinese restaurant in the shopping center. Look to see where most of the cars are parked-- their owners are most likely eating at the Noodle Bar.
