Love everything about this restaurant, have dined several times this year and it's been perfect every time. This time I had the Natak Experience which is a six course set menu for only 16 bd, apart from the quality of every course there is a lot of food so make sure you come here hungry as it's so good you will not want to leave anything. The restaurant also has very good drinks selection, the atmosphere is nice with Saxophonist playing live.To top it all the level of service from Rakesh, Aldi and Karol is equally as first class as the food. Our daughter insists that the butter chicken being so good she wont even look at the menu !

Great place! Great service! Great food! Even the Boss himself is very hands on and very service and customer oriented. They offer a large variety of food, take your time and study the menu and explore the amazing dishes. A must is the traditional duck as a starter, fantastic and otherwise dumplings, spring rolls are great. Enjoy and continue the great job

From its breathtaking to its Far Eastern Cuisine of Thai, Japanese & Vietnamese dishes, Monsoon is truly ultimate fine dining experience
Not my first review of Monsoon. I love this place, but this was probably the best meal so far.Mixed Japanese starters, Thai main course, great cocktails and attentive waiters. Food and drink quality was spot on.I thought the price was good as well. Not a cheap meal, but does not break the bank either.Well worth the visit.Thank you very much for your kind review! We appreciate you taking the time to share your lovely feedback with us, we look forward to your next visit to Monsoon!

Sato, Japanese restaurant - Gulf Hotel Bahrain. The Gulf Hotel's distinguished Sato restaurant has earned itself a reputation for serving the absolute best in Japanese cuisine led by Chef Naotaka. It is favored by guests who are said to love its peaceful
It has been over a year but we finally managed to wait until 7pm to head off for dinner. Sato has always been a favorite, so with Fusions currently closed at the Gulf Hotel, we decided on Japanese. We were seated in a quieter area, as requested--much appreciated as one of our party of three has a hearing impairment. Cocktails came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the Cosmopolitans were quite good. We ordered a variety of things, including the set menu A, with teppanyaki. And that is where it went wrong. The beef, ordered medium, was cool to the touch and medium well to well done. The chicken was also slightly overdone, but the shrimp were rubbery, very overdone or had obviously sat under a heat lamp. What was outstanding, absolutely stellar, was how the manager handled the issue. He offered to replace our meals and we declined, as our dining partner was well on her way into her meal. Additionally, we took it home--except for the rubbery shrimp, as the flavor was good. He offered dessert, which we also declined. Finally, when our bills came, he removed one of the set menus from the bill, a mark of professionalism which will ensure we return to Sato, even if we won't order the teppanyaki shrimp again.Overall, we are rating it average, because for the price, the food should have lived up to the service.Dear kdk1965, Greetings from SATO at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa. We would like to thank you for taking the time to share with us your detailed feedback. we are sorry to hear that you haven't had the best of the SATO culinary experience. Culinary team was briefed on the situation with the teppanyaki set which is one of our best sellers & we are committed to serve the best on your next visit. On the same note- please do let us know of your next visit to SATO, so that we can ensure a great experience at SATO which you deserve the most. Look forward to welcome you back at SATO in the near future Warm Regards, Team SATO

To celebrate our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary my Husband surprised me with a night out at this wonderful 'Rasoi by Vineet' Restaurant in the Gulf Hotel, Bahrain. At first I was bit dubious as Indian food is not usually my first choice, however we availed the TASTING MENU & it totally blew my mind and I can't wait to go back& do it all over again. I would highly recommend adding this to your bucket list of places to go, especially if celebrating a special occasion or when your just in need of a treat or you want to do something outside of the 'usual routine' box. The tasting menu itself is very reasonably priced & there's not just one set menu - there's choices & they are flexible - so if there's something that you do not like (I don't eat Mutton - so they changed that course for me) - NOTE: advising them in advance ensures you get exactly what you want (setting / seating / food choices etc). The presentation of the food, along with the flavours and combinations just made this an experience never to be forgotten. You can watch the Chef's cook your food through the glass window and they are eager to please & all very friendly. The same applies to the waiting staff - everyone was so attentive (even the bathroom attendant) & ensured that that we had a wonderful & memorable evening - thank you to you all.The ambiance, décor and style is also wonderful. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Vineet during one of his previous visits for a Wine Dinner Experience, which was also fantastic.Thank you to everyone at Rasoi for making our actual Wedding Day Anniversary Celebration something that we will never ever forget.Look forward to seeing all again soon :-)Dear Michelle D,Greetings from the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and SpaWe would like to thank you for taking the time to share with us your feedback. It is through feedback like yours that we are able to uphold and to also improve the services that we provide to our valued guest such as yourself. It is with great pleasure to see that you enjoyed your experience with us. We look forward to having you join us again at Rasoi by Vineet in near future.Best Regards,Sri

Baharat promises an Arabian adventure. Come Friday's, a truly international five-star brunch buffet awaits you, join us for the Sweetest Brunch!
Its our first review after the renovation of Baharat. The food is good as usual. Chief Ahmed Salem has a magical touch for anything he prepares.I consider Baharat among the other good hotelsâ restaurants that offer a seafood theme night. Its pricey compared to others. On the buffet side They offer wide range of different dishes.Unfortunately, the Salmon was a bit cold and the some of the dishes needed refills.Personally, i didnât like the beef but maybe it is a matter of personal taste.I would suggest they offer chicken for people who would love to enjoy a nice place and company but they donât eat seafood due to allergic issues. The chicken is missing ! Plus, i would suggest they offer different dishes every week on the buffet. It would make them stand between the others.Baharat is worth a visit. And maybe a revisit after few months.Enjoy!Dear Abdullak918,Thank you for taking time to give us your feedback about your last visit, we certainly take our guests comments seriously and know that we looking forward fulfill your requirement for your next visit. We look forward to changing your overall opinion in the not so distant future. Kind Regards,Vinoth Sivalingam, Baharat Restaurant Manager
