The Taj Coromandel experience is enhanced by its world famous cuisines served up by some of the best Indian and International chefs. Taj Coromandel offers three distinctive specialty restaurants - Prego, the Italian Fine Dining restaurant; Southern Spice,
The menu is varied and encapsulates the various flavors of South Indian food.Spicy to mild can all be had here. The starter selection, chutneys and the succulent Andhra spicy lamb chops was simply divine. The south Indian specialty "Rasam" was heaven on earth.Dear Guest,Thank you for choosing Taj Coromandel and sparing time to share your review on TripAdvisor.Your kind words of appreciation have been a great source of inspiration for our team and these motivate them to serve better, thus ensuring our guests take back fond memories. We look forward to the pleasure of welcoming you back to our hotel.Kind RegardsSaleem YousuffSenior Vice President Operations â Tamil Nadu, Kerala & Andhra Pradesh

Saravana Bhavan is famous for veg food and is the first chain of hotels in many places in Chennai, all over TN, expanding into nearby states and abroad. Clean food, totally veg, well trained servers, nice ambience and a hefty bill. Parking and food safety are assured and so, preference always in Veg food at any time of the day goes to Saravana Bhavan and significant logo of HSB in the form of a âVelâ, the handy choice of Lord Muruga is a standing testimony to âAnnachiââS brain child from 1980s.

Wonderful place for vegetarian food!Food - 4/5Drinks - naAmbiance -4.5/5Service -4/5VFM - 4/5Iâm a pure non vegetarian but I enjoyed dinner here last week.Reservations are mandatory even on weekdays as the place is totally packed Loved the thali concept. They do have a la carte as well but would recommend the thali as you get to try their best dishes both in North Indian and South Indian the dishes change everyday. all dishes on the thali are served in unlimited quantity Best part was that the north Indian dishes were as good as the South Indian dishes â¤ï¸Must try the rasam Priced at around 1050 per head...They also have banquet halls for private ceremonies Going to visit their branches in Singapore and Malaysia soon

This was our first visit to Chennai, and we were told to start with Murgan Idli shop. Yes a ture south indian style welcome lunch. We had to ask for spoons. The plates were Banana leaf what ever you ordered were served on these. For Sambar we asked them to give some bowls and we got leaf bowls. The food was great and as we ordered Rice meals we did not know what to expect and just enjoyed all their dishes. Dosa was also great - must try their local Lime Soda drink with ginger also an option.

I tried take away at this restaurant. The Dum Biryani and chicken 65 were good. The restaurant is known for its Arabian food. They delivered the food quickly. The food is moderately priced.

I had been there recently with my wife and those who have a taste for Chettinadu Cuisine will enjoy this food.Their service is courteous.Their Non Vegetarian Thali,Fried Kingfish, fried prawns,Chicken Chettinadu and their gravy. Itâs a little greasy and spicy.Their curries, spices have a distinct aroma and itâs a different taste to the palate.Dr.Javed Rasheed

The restaurant is inside a Residential Area Gandhinagar ... The ambiance is simple...Food served here is different ..Ragi,Millets and wild rice varieties ...But don't go away..They are all cooked in a very tasty manner...Plantain flower vadai, wild rice biriyani.. Plalak (Manathakkali) chapathis and a full millet meal ... The board outside states..No maida,No white sugar and no refined oil ... So much for lunchMornings and evenings they serve most south Indian dishes but prepared from ragi millets wild rice etc. The price is minimal for an A/c restaurant ... It is a new experience.. As the restaurant is in a colony car parking is on the road only.

I am writing about the branch of Sangeetha restaurant located at the domestic departure terminal of Chennai Airport... Agreed that we are getting good vegetarian Food from this restaurant.. Food very nice.... at what cost...?Since this is outside the Airport, we tend to believe that the cost of dishes may not be that much high when compared to the Food available inside the Airport... However our view is wrong.. Prices are very much on the higher side..For eg: One Masala Dosa cost Rs. 171.43 one pongal costs Rs.138.10Idly 2 Nos.61.90 etc....In case you would like to have a parcel/take delivery,,,,you have to pay additional charges. Can the hotel authorities check the price and make available food at a moderate cost to the passengers....
