This facility is just opposite the Kerala RTC buses stand. We had lunch today. It's just an average hotel which offers normal food. More curry was missing. It has other items like avial, thoran, sambar, rasam, curd, payasam etc. For serving side dishes for the second time we had to call the service boy.... Good for 80 RS considering the locality.

The Brown Beans Cafe is more than just a cafe, the pizzas, donuts, brownies, coffee, tea, juices ... they serve a good number of items and must say that the items I have tried were really good. Three times I visited the outlet and had donuts, pizza, cappuccino coffee, cold coffee etc. The service is excellent, the parking is an advantage. Nice place to spend some time having our favorite coffee and a pizza or burger.

With such a lot of NRIs that probably come visiting the town, there is no dearth of good restaurants in the town. This name was intriguing enough and the double row of parked cars first gave a fright, but the large size of the restaurant was reassuring. The decor was rather interesting but the buzz of activity inside the place was a bit disconcerting. It took some time before the menu cards appeared and then the long wait for the order to materialize. The welcome drink was welcome though. Naadan Mutton soup was a great way to start and when finally the Kerala porottas did arrive they were crisp and a single one quite filling. The prawns and mushroom curries too were worth the wait. Waiters were friendly enough when they had some breathing space. The washroom did let us down for want of timely cleaning ( the washbasins) but then it was us guests who were careless. Altogether a good experience even if a bit tiring. Do go, if you can mix good food and some noisy ambience!Never got to find out why they named it so!

Open the door and step in to a new world-where we setup a treasure hunt for your tastebuds. We the Mazali family ensure you a culinary experience that will quench the thirst of you foodies through our services at restaurant, coffee shop & bakes. Focusing
We halted at Mazali for lunch while we were traveling through this route and loved the place.Location- Conveniently located beside the NH and easy to notice. The location is a busy roundabout with heavy traffic. They have good parking space also. Ambiance- Beautiful ambiance once you get inside. Despite being located in a busy junction, once you are inside it is very calm and interiors are done beautifully. Food- Food was very tasty. We had meals along with fish fries and everything tasted good. Sole fish fry was great and squid was marinated to perfection. Service- Service was also good. They have adequate staff and despite being crowded (Which I think it is for most of the times), They make sure everyone is attended properly. Cost- Price is a little bit on the higher side but perfectly reasonable considering the quality of food, service, and location. A meal for two people may cost around 400-600 INR.Overall a great place to dine-in and would definitely return if I pass through this place again.

EDIT 2: (THE MOST RELEVANT AND MOST RECENT REVIEW)Right after I posted this review, I got an immediate reply from the Owner which you guys can see in the comments section and furthermore surprisingly the Hotel Management contacted me via Facebook inviting me for a free meal. I must say this really changed my perspective toward their administration. This was a sweet gesture from their side. They took the criticism in the right way and worked on that to change the customer opinion. This speaks a lot about the positivity of the management group. I had a totally different experience this time. I felt the improvement phenomenonaly. This was not just to impress me, as in there were many primitive changes I observed in this visit. A lot of things had exponentially gone uphill. Hygiene was one thing. The bathrooms and wash area was maintained perfect. The food this time was top notch. The infrastructure as I noted this time had many elements of improvement as from my previous visit.Right now, I would strongly recommend anyone to visit the hotel if you're at Malappuram. They have come a far way. And they sure would reach even further heights hopefully, owing to the hotels super-responsive and responsible Management Team. Hats off to you guys for responding with this energetic positive attitude to cristicism. Best of luck!
