Looking for a good place to chill out after a busy day? Located right in front of Bounty beach on Malapascua island, One Up Bar is the perfect joint to enjoy some ice-cold local or imported drinks with cool breeze and the stunning view. Try our unique int
You can choose between 6 famous international draft beer like Heineken, Paulaner WeiÃbier, Hoegaarden, San Miguel, Stella Artois and Paulaner Münchner Hell.I also had some really good cocktails and enjoyed the beautiful view on the sea.Perfect place to chill out with some drinks!
The place is ok, quite and decent for a 400-600 peso fan room, you have your own toilet, water tend to be a little salty sometimes or worst no water during the night (that we can understand fresh water is a little scarce in an island) there is no a/c in this accommodation because we heard electric per kilowatt is so expensive no tv as well. But this is perfect if room for you is only for sleeping.

Aroi Mak means "Delicious" in Thai and this Traditional Thai Restaurant will give it's name all the credit & value it deserves. All the decoration, tableware and lounge pillows are imported from Thailand to create that special Thai feeling. Come and relax

Enjoy the different. Affordabal food for everyone.
Already disappointed to arrive at Annâs at noon and found it closed, so had all our hopes up coming back for dinner at 6pm. Knowing the wait could be long ish so we came after 3 rounds of happy hour to preempty the impatience. And yet, even as the happiest selves we had the worst experience in every imaginable dimension:- The wait. 1.5 hours in, no body came to acknowledge us after we ordered. The table next to us finished their family dinner as we waited. Another table simply walked out in fury after 20min with no waiter in sight. - The food. I mean, this place was supposed to be known for their kinilaw? When it finally came it was fish cubes with skin that was unchewable and just looked like leftover fish parts from 2 diff fish. The fish curry was batter fried fish and tasted like those packaged curry meals. And the veggie stir fry was just the saddest looking plate with a few sad carrot/potato/cucumber piece plus too much liquid. - The service. When we asked the guy about our food after over an hour he pretended he didnât understand English?! The lady did take the kinilaw off our bill when we questioned it so a point there, but seeing weâre clearly annoyed she went on to ask where weâre from...?!Cute place though but i can only wish it was as good as people had claimed. Heard they do take preorders, so if you wanna give it a try without starving to angry death, preorder.Hellooo ..sorry for what u had experienced but its not true about the kinilaw..the kinilaw was fresh the only fault was the helper forgot to get the skin..about he is used to that we filipino we eat also the skin..and its not 1.5hr waiting..we cant afford to do that..we tried our best though but we admitted we made also faults...we put information outside what time we will be open maybe u didnt saw it...stir fried vegetables cant put much vege about its too cheap the price..we were sorry but next time we can assure u we will do our best for all of u guyz!!
Weâve been here several times for breakfast und lunch. Not one time we got disappointed. Iâd recommend the Chicken Sandwich with homemade potato chips. But be careful...nothing for the small appetite ;) !Also the mixed noodles with veggies are good. The staff is great and the best people you can have around you. sitting down at night while having a few beers with these guys and having great conversations was such a pleasure.I highly recommend this place

Some of the other reviews have noted how the owner carefully prepares the ingredients. This was certainly the case with my meal. Iâve had pork parklay (sp?) before. But this was the first time it was special and not just something to satisfy hunger. One dish plus a bottle of San Miguel will run around 250. Portions are generous. Excellent Filipino style food. I returned and tried several other dishes. The Kinilaw, fried eggplant, cordon bleu, chicken with potatoes, and chicken curry were all excellent. By the end, I was just telling her what I had already eaten and asking for a new recommendation. Obviously, I felt the food was worth the repeat visit. The restaurant is outdoors, so one may be bothered a bit by mosquitos. FYI. They will bring coils and candles. But those only do so much.

Located a short walk from the beach area. The decor is simple and basic. Service can be indifferent but when your paying cheap prices who cares. I guess their prices are aimed at a backpacking clientele. I only had breakfast there and it's pretty hard to go wrong with an omelet.

Spent 4 days on the island and dinner at this lovely restaurant was the best eating experience of the visit. The menu is extensive including a wide variety of Asian and local choices, service was prompt and efficient and although it was not the cheapest restaurant on the island, the food and the ambience was fantastic.
