This is a supermarket with a prepared food section and a dining area, food's not great, but not bad either. There is a variety of daily selections to choose from, mainly fast Chinese food, but customers are also able to order from a special menu that include noodle dishes and limited dim sum items. Kitchen was slow in coming out with the Hong Kong WonTon Noodle Soup that we ordered, and service personnel seemed to be disinterested and lacked friendliness.

For being one of the very few Vietnamese restaurants in the area, I was impressed with the authenticity of the wide range of food selections on their menu. Visiting from the Bay Area, I was craving Vietnamese food and was recommended this place from my cousins girlfriend. The highlight of the meal was their banh ghot and bun bo hue. I ordered the pho dac biet and it was underwhelming. The broth was too sweet, and I ended up not eating much of it. Service: Extremely slow! I've never been to a pho place that took over 30 min to get our soup. Maybe I'm just spoiled with getting my soups in 5 min or less in the Bay Area. Don't come here if you're in a hurry, good thing I didn't have a flight to catch. Overall, a solid place to grab some authentic Vietnamese food. Will be back when visiting the area.

A chef-driven restaurant featuring an ever-evolving menu of signature noodle soups, rice bowls, curries, small plates and a curated collection of beer, sake + shochu.
Had plans to meet my family for an early birthday celebration and was dismayed to see how stark the decor was.BUT- then I found a friendly welcoming ambiance because of the order and serving staff. They were all smiling and helpful. And the food....Wow. The potato salad is worth the visit on its own.And the tea! Served in a pot and delicious. My unagi-don was enough for two and also yummy.Ramen soup was subtle and tasty.Iâll be back.

This area is where you go to find Vietnamese food in the Detroit area, Six or Seven places I can think of in a couple mile area. I believe this is one of the oldest places and offers pretty solid food. We ended up here as the other two places we stopped at had lines and a decent wait, stopped in here and only two tables were occupied and the place is very large. The area has a lot of Asian locals and they were eating at the other places. The items were all good but didn't seem as fresh as the others, pork spring rolls were not fresh but pre-made as one of mine had a piece of saran wrap still stuck to it. The Pho broth really didn't have much depth. In the future this will be as it was today an alternative option as some of the other places I feel offer a better product.

When two of my friends suggested we meet at Ronin for Happy Hour, I had no idea what to expect. I think I just found one of my favorite sushi places! The staff was amazing and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. We had a wine and some great food, My friends love the ribs and I had a California roll, spicy tuna tacos and edemami! I think I am going to become a regular here! Love this place!

I ordered the Bun Thit Bo, Heo Ga Nuong Cha Gio and it was excellent! Great grilled pork with vegetables, vermicelli and a fried pork spring roll. The man taking orders was very friendly and quick on the water refills.

Try the pho with thin sliced beef. The rice noodles are phantastic (get it?), and the beef broth soup tastes great with the cilantro and red onion garnish. Egg rolls and Bahn Mi are nice as well. Staff are friendly and food is served piping hot and quickly. A bit of a hole in the wall, but a 5-star hole in the wall. Expect a few minute wait for a table to open up on the weekends. ;-)

I came here on suggestion of a female friend. She said that it is her favorite restaurant and that if I like seafood, I should come here with her. I wasn't expecting much because this place is located in a strip mall. It doesn't look like much from the outside. It is decorated nicely inside in Asian decor with paper lanterns. If you love seafood and sushi they have quite the variety of it here. The bad thing is that the buffet is a bit on the pricey side. Then again, it is seafood and seafood tends to be more expensive anyways. They have Asian soups as well. I would consider coming here again.

Happy to say we finally dined here! We started with the crispy rice soup for two - full of flavor with fresh ingredients. Same regarding the egg rolls; plus, the plum sauce is very flavorful. We each enjoyed generous entrees with leftovers for another meal. We will return and both of us wished we hadnât waited so long for this first visit. The service was excellent as well.

I have been going here for more than a decade because of the consistent food quality. They make excellent sushi and do it relatively quickly at a reasonable price. The new space so far is disappointing though. The flow between ordering, paying, sitting, getting served.....it is a mess. They need to completely rethink the process and make better signs. Looks like they tried to build out the interior "on the cheap" instead of making it comfortable and inviting.Next time I will order to go or just grab pre-made sushi.
