As a party of 9 we had a superb meal at the Curry Club on a Friday evening. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the excellent service continued throughout the duration of our meal. Both Ray and Jay looked after our needs, everyone commented on the excellent quality and taste of their main dishes after the usual popadom and pickle starter tray. I can highly recommend this restaurant and whilst it is located slightly outside the main town centre, it is certainly worth a visit - highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate using again if visiting the area!

Ordered a takeaway for 51st Wedding Anniversary on 16th September as I have my arm in plaster and donât feel able to eat out. We ordered the duck with pancakes and although the pancakes were small and a bit stale tasting, they were ok. My husband ordered beef fillet with green peppers with chilli and black bean sauce. It was fine but in the night he woke with a very salty taste in his mouth. I ordered a main of chicken in satay sauce. I donât know what I received but it was a watery mess and certainly not satay. I could not eat it. The âfreeâprawn crackers were stale. Usually, this takeaway serves good food - not that night. We wonât use it again and wouldnât recommend it.

The waiting area looks a lot better following a refurbishment. The food was was fine except that the naan bread was very poor. It was far too thick and doughy. The staff are very pleasant but please get the Naans sorted......thin and crispy please not a mouthful of dough.

Popped in here on a Sunday afternoon, friendly staff & lots of locals around the bar - all happy to chat to & welcome new visitors. Rip roaring fire was most welcoming on a dreary afternoon. Roast potatoes, pickled onions & a selection of cheeses on the bar as "nibbles".

I have to say Iâm becoming more and more fussy with Chinese since trying elsewhere and I keep coming back to the DBA and the Chinese in Cosby! Have sat in the restaurant and ordered as a take away, both as good as each other. Service was fast given how busy it was. My only complaint would be the crispy chilli beef, had a bit of a weird after taste and was TOO crispy (I know an odd complaint but felt as though I was eating crisps) but the rest was perfect! Will 100% visit again!

Would NEVER go again !!There were 8 of us that attended and the food was not great - very average and also not very warm - could have done with heating in the microwave!!Staff were very rude and when we came to pay was told very abruptly how many cards were we paying on as its cost them !!?This maybe should have been advised before hand. NEVER AGAIN - I used to go many years ago and the owners then and food and ambiance was first class very sad thatâs itâs not the same.

Went here as a group of nine friends on a Thursday night. There were a few groups of five or more and the staff were struggling to cope. Orders were taken swiftly, although the drinks too aged to come out. Food took an absolute age to arrive and the wait between starter and main course was unacceptable. When we got the food it was excellent. We may have just gone on a bad night but I wonât be returning.
