On a recent business trip to Lucknow, I was with my colleagues who are pure vegetarians. They asked me for my recommendation and reluctantly I suggested Dastarkhwan. But, deep inside I was not very comfortable knowing that this place doesn't even advertise vegetarian food, but anyways, they obliged and went for lunch.Among other dishes, we also ordered Mughlai Paneer and this literally stood out. When we started eating, the first reaction came not from me but from my colleague, who stated, next time we come to Lucknow, we are coming here. I was relieved...The place is well known for Non Veg food and for that I recommend it any time, any day but I wasn't too sure about Veg food, but after this visit, I can say with great confidence that this place is equally good for vegetarian food as well. So, if you are in area, go ahead and try Mughlai Paneer, and you will thank me for that...

A visit to lucknow is not complete without Tunday. The galawat kebabs were excellent. We also ordered chicken seekh kababs, veg kababs and veg biryani. The seekh kebabs were average though the veg items were quite tasty. The only negative about the place is its too crowded and its difficult to find a table and you have to struggle on your own to find a place to sit. They have a family sitting separately.

Very spacious with large variety of food options. Chef Rajendra is an asset at Kava and so are Mr. Deepak Sharma, Mr. Gaurav Singh, Mr. Mustafa, Mr. Vinay, Ms. Shrey and Ms. Rajwinder to name just a few. All these youngsters are super efficient and courteous. I can easily call Kava as one of the best places to eat while at Lucknow

We visited this gem of a restaurant for dinner. Fabulous food, along with nice live music and friendly staff. We highly recommend the tandoori chicken, galawati kabab, nawabi kofta and awadhi gosht. Special mention to Pankaj and Raj, as both were very friendly and helpful the whole time we were there. They were attentive without being intrusive. Great experience!
