Siam is the result of the many journeys of Carlos Zegarra during his culinary trips through the streets of Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and other South east asian countries. Siam brings the most exquisites combinations of traditional thai cuisine and fusio
All dishes tried, Pad Thai, Massaman Nua and the Thai wok rice were not necessarily very Thai but rather the Peruvian interpretation of what Thai should be. Having said that, everything was extremely good. If you want to experience a different kind of Thai, this is the place to go. If you want to have real Thai, Aji555 should be your choice. Why not 5 points? First, the place is very loud and small (nothing bad about small, but loud AND small is too stressing). Second, the server did not really take too much care of the table. A pity as they could do so much better fixing the service part...

This is one of Lima's finest grills located in its best residential district (San Isidro) make reservations as itâs usually full. It's in the seafood where you can find a better cost/product relationship comparing this nice restaurant with other grills. Shrimp, octopus, cob, though they carry also nice entry meat options and veggies to have along (I love their tartar and their 'black burger')

I had the opportunity to visit Viet last month and tried a good number of dishes from the menu and everything was excellent! I have visited Vietnam several times and can say that everything I tried at Viet really took me back to memories from those trips. The pho was awesome, as were the chicken wings, but for me it was the Bánh xèo that really shone. Aside from the incredible food, I also have to mention also how beautiful the space is, with really cool contemporary graphic work on the walls and welcoming and inviting staff. If you have the opportunity to visit, don't miss it, I promise you won't regret it! They are also rolling out some awesome cocktails which are unlike anything I've had elsewhere in Lima, and a really welcome change of flavour.

Nikkei (the fusion of Japanese and Peruvian) cuisine at its best. The menu accompanies great quality sashimi with sushi, makis, and main courses that go way beyond the usual sauteed preparations, bringing in ingredients from the Sierra and Amazon regions of Peru with creativity, technique and excellent taste. Desserts are very much worth saving some appetite to have them. The list of cocktails and wines is not very large but represent a good selection and also include original combinations in the case of cocktails (both with or without alcohol). My mouth waters as I write this comment... Staff members are knowledgeable on the menu and are able and happy to help to make your choices. The decoration is pleasant, tables are well distributed, comfortable chairs... Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, service and environment.

Osaka could be among the best Peruvian Nikkei restaurants in the city, if not the best. Ideal place to experience new dishes and cocktails, which combines local fruits, vegetables and spices with a oriental taste to combine and cook almost perfect meals.

About me - travel to Thailand once every year, for the last 20 years.Tried food here. Though spicy- yes but did not feel fresh or delicious.Tried mamasam curry. was a disaster.Ambience is good. The waiters are polite. Owner is from Thailand.Prices - moderately expensive - 2 people - 50 usd. Will not return.Dear Sally By protocol when a person orders high spicy level, he is made aware of the consequences by saying that the spicy will ruin the flavors of the dish, but if you insist, we cook as you ordered ... and that is what happened. Dr. Paul Bosland, many known him as the "Chile man", a professor of horticulture who gives lectures and writes about the harvest of chili, his genetics and expert most appreciated in capsaicin, wrote an article about the taste buds that are harmed from too much spicy food: "Capsaicin, which is the active component of hot peppers, ruins a dish, but if it is consumed moderately, there is no evidence that the taste buds are affected," he explained. Finally, if you ate too spicy dishes, we assure you that the dish you ate used monosodium glutamate which is what makes you want to eat more and feel the sensation of being tasty. Our restaurant offers healthy and responsible Thai food with the health of the people who visit us. We hope we have contributed with this information so that it does not happen again.

I normally don't like restaurants that are too trendy, and prefer low key establishments that are more about substance than decoration. But in this case, they have both fronts covered. Food and drinks all excellent--as much as I love traditional sushi, these inventive twists they put on their dishes were all exploding with flavor and texture, each bite more exciting than the last. We were big group of 10 and they managed all the orders very well, with three separate checks and all the different drink orders, so big props on the wait staff for handling it all very professionally. We got to be in a sort of private dining room which was also quite nice. This was the first meal we had over a 2-week multi-city trip--we couldn't have started off in a better way!

MAIDO! That's how you'll be greeted once you step into the restaurant. A big welcoming team...ready to wow you! Maido is a humble restaurant despite it's Michelin stars and several awards. The food has a purpose, a clean vision and knows it's superb roots. The team knows and passionate about their work and they will explain each dish with respect that the dish deserve. Some dishes are more complicated than others but remember elevating simple dishes are harder since there is nowhere to hide; on the contrary Maido's dishes are proud be seen and tasted. You're already in Peru, do yourself a favor and experience Maido...
