I went with a friend of mine and she had been here several times before and was familiar with the menu. This was my first visit. Although the place wasn't busy, and this can be concerning, the sushi was fresh and outstanding ! I will go back !

I usually go for the buffet. Unlike other Chinese-style buffet restaurants, their food is ALWAYS fresh. They empty bins if they've been sitting a while even if there is still food left over to ensure freshness. The owners are always on-hand and personally come around to ask how the food is.

This was our third visit here and my wife (Asian) was eager to sample new flavors. Service was great and courteous, food was served timely (from a very good menu) and the price was right. One downside, at lunchtime the restaurant was very busy and there was a shortage of staff to handle seating, phone orders, table orders, table service, etc. An extra person was called from the back room to help at the peak hour there was (a) a line to be seated, (b) a line to pay, (c) the cashier taking phone orders, (d) customers waiting for their take-out. All of this could have been resolved with 1-2 additional servers. It's a great place and the extra help would pay off.

Asian Fusion & Lounge
I'm a big fan of this restaurant, it's my go to for sushi in town. I love their Spicy Tuna roll, for under $6 you can't beat it. My only issue is that the meals are kind of expensive AND there is no kids menu....like nothing. I have a hard time justifying going there for dinner when we go out as a family because the meals are adult sized and priced making it absurd to bring my daughter. r of 5. I'd like to see them introduce some cheaper, smaller portioned meals for kids so we could go more frequently but when I can get away it's a nice meal.

Lewiston will never be a destination for food. She'll always be that "forgotten place north of Portland" with many foodies that never venture beyond Portland's gilded city limits. But if you live nearby (or are a resident), or up to taking a drive, Boba will reward you handsomely with amazing tastes I hadn't been expecting. Actually, I'd heard reports of the place, so part of my mission when I found myself in town for business was to find and sample Boba's fare. Glad I did!Boba's intriguing take-out fare is centered on the countries of Southeast Asia. The location where Zach Pratt is now plying his culinary magic is in a former neighborhood variety store, just off Pleasant Street. Use your GPS and you'll be fine. His "new" location is a bump-up from when he began as a five-seat in the corner of a former gas station. Looks can be deceiving.Pratt is the real deal. Walking into the nondescript eatery, you are immediately blasted with a cavalcade of delicious aromas that commence your mouth to watering. "Where am I?" you might think. Not Lewiston (a perfectly fine place, just not somewhere that you'd ever think would be a place like Boba.Boba has a wealth of menu options: Pho, dumplings, sandwiches, appetizers. Zach was out back, an artist working his magic; he and a co-worker were trying to stay ahead of multiple Friday take-out orders being picked up at lunch time. I had to wait a few minutes before I could place my order for one of the Banh Mi options. These are Vietnamese sandwiches served with pickled carrot, dikon, a secret aioli, cilantro, onion, on a toasted French baguette. They has a vegan option, which was Kosher Mi, with marinated tofu and a vegan aioli. Zach asked if I was a vegan and said that the sandwich might be a bit "dry" so he slipped in a small container of a ginger chili sauce for dipping. I would have been fine without it, but this little addition was like "bam!!!" in terms of ramping up my first experience at his restaurant/eatery.While take-out is king/queen here, there are three tables (I think?) and stools to eat along the wall. The combination of flavors in my Bahn Mi created a perfect flavor symphony in my mouth. The cilantro was fresh, and the baguette roll was flavorful and crunchy. The pickled veggie/dakon combo suited the perfectly marinated and fried tofu. I could have been happy just dipping the tofu in my dipping sauce, alone. Together--well, perfection!!Zach told me that he and his partner are looking for a bigger place nearby. I was in the area for work, and one of my coworkers had heard this place recommended. Both of us enjoy very spicy food. We put in a large carry out order - I got the eggplant thai basil and requested that it be made 'thai hot'. When it came, I took a few bites and thought to myself that perhaps I'd gotten the wrong order - there was almost NO heat whatsoever, and it wasn't very flavorful either. There was some basil in it but it was overcooked. I figured maybe I was being overly critical, but then my coworker exclaimed that this was some of the worst Thai food she'd ever had and she actually had to put salt in hers because it was so bland (she had gotten drunken noodles, as well as an order of fried rice). The others with us seemed to enjoy their food (one of them had gotten a curry) and said it was flavorful so perhaps we just got a bad batch. Aside from the spice/flavor, the eggplant was a perfect, creamy consistency, and the tofu was firm. Still, overall, it was average in terms of Thai restaurants.

Seems like a pretty good value. The food was good, big selection of not only Chinese but some pasta, chicken fingers, fries, etc. were also available. Servers were all very friendly. It was pretty busy at lunch, but there never seemed to be an issue with supply at the buffet tables.

Whether you're dining in a booth or eating at the habachi the food is fresh reasonable and delicious. This is a truly hidden gem here in Lewiston. A lot of people may snub Sea 40 because it's in the town of Lewiston but let me tell you, it's a great place to go.
