First off we had a reservation for a family get together for 18 people. When we got there they had two tables for 12 together and two booths for the rest. When I told them this was unacceptable they could care less. The idea was for everyone to sit together not separate. Well we had no choice. So we decided to make the best of it. The food was terrible, the servers could barely speak English and the customers were so rude. Trying to find something to eat was a disaster. The people pushed, shoved and made me drop a hot bowl of soup all over the floor and did not even say he was sorry. Maybe he didn't speak English. When it came to pay the bill they added an 18 percent tip. In my opinion the servers were not worth a 10 percent tip and it was way too expensive for what they offered. You could barely get a second drink and dirty dished remained on the table even when these servers walked right by the table and saw them. The only thing that was good was the Hot and Sour soup. Everything else was horrible. IF you want a good meal Please STAY AWAY FROM THE GLOBAL BUFFET IN LEVITTOWN !!!
On a whim I stopped in for dinner at Ichiban Asian. I'm fairly new to the area and,was looking for a healthier option for dinner while house sitting for family.I ended up eating there 4 days that week! I consider myself fairly adventurous when dining on Japanese food. No rolls for me. And I've been to many omakase type meals where anything and everything is edible. This restaurant was as good if not better as some I've been to. The sashimi was exquisite. The specialty items as fresh as could be.One of the best things about Ichiban is the staff. I love them and the food! I could eat there every day!
Have never been to Chen's when they did not have something lovely to eat. They do have a lot of seafood, though. I wish they had more meat choices instead because I am allergic to all types of seafood; nevertheless that's MY problem... not theirs. Salads are fresh, appetizers appealing, cookies, pastries, ice creams & puddings for desert PLUS a CHOCOLATE FONDUE! Hot tea is included any other drinks are extra.
Waitress Joey will welcome you as though you were a regular. Hubby was thrilled to learn they had Hamachi Kama a dish not all restaurants have. It was perfect. Everything we ordered was wonderful...tuna tataki, pad thai ,fried oysters, and avocado topped with assorted fish, spicy mayo and ponzu sauce. The most delicious dish though is Joey the charming waitress!

My three girlfriends and I went to Chen's Buffet City for lunch. The price was very reasonable. We walked around the tables I selected from the pans a broccoli chicken dish, one friend choose pepper steak, another some type of noodle dish and the other General Tsao's chichken dish. We all tasted our dishes and every dish but the pepper steak was cold. The waitress said she would warm it up in the kitchen which she did. The dishes except for the pepper steak were bland. We used heavy salt & pepper. I returned & took severe sushi pieces which were good. I also bought dim sum with sausage backe to the table. The dim sum was hot and delicious. We all went back & took more dim sum. I took the pepper steak with noodles & I had it grilled at the grill in the back. The chef asked me what I wanted. I had him add terriakyi sauce & medium spicy. This I really liked. I gave the chef a dollar. My other friend had her dished grilled & liked it. I saw the ice cream cups across from the sushi bar. I brought everything back to the table. All my friends asked where I got the ice cream cup. One went & bought ice cream cups for all of us. This time I had oragnge sherbet. This was really the best part of the meal. I have rated the place average because of the many cold dishes. All of us have been to far better places No one will return.

Looking for something different to celebrate a birthday and decided to give Izumi a try. We have been to other hibachi restaurants, but more for the show than the quality of the food. Izumi provides both the show and very good food. We had the Gyoza dumplings which were excellent and various hibachi dinners from steak, chicken and shrimp. We had one rice allergy and they substituted noodles. The prices and service was also good.

Friends suggested that we try this restaurant .Everything was a la carte and quite expensive for a restaurant of this kind. The food was okay .Service was average.

I've been here twice with my family. Both times the service and food were excellent. Brand new and clean restaurant. Fair prices and good drinks. We had the shrimp tempora and combo hibachi dinner. Scallops were delicious. We will return. We go during the week, never too busy.

a group of 4 of us stopped by on a cold night for dinner. Parking is on the street. We were lucky to find parking close by. It is a very small restaurant. It only seats around 30 people. We squeezed into our tables and enjoyed some beer. The spring rolls were quite tasty. The samosa chaat was a little too bland. The soups were great - hot and spicy. We shared the fried rice, the vegetable Manchurian and chili panner. The food was good. The panner was salty but we were able to get it replaced. Our friend had the goat achari which was pretty good. The service was just okay - the waiter was neither friendly nor prompt. But the food was good and we would try it again if we are in the area.
