Went with a colleague for the lunch buffet. Sat for 5-10 min, before realizing we were supposed to plunge into the buffet line, finding plates, etc. The items in the buffet were generally good, but labeled with their Indian name, as in you should know what the names mean before eating there. One server, when asked about the food choices, seemed to have insufficient English to explain, but sought assistance from another. As a novice at Indian cuisine, I was wishing for more explanation, as usually found in menus. Place was clean, but not busy at noon on a Wednesday.

I have traveled all over the US/CAN (NYC, SF, LA, SEA, LV, CHI, Vancouver) and tried several Sichuan food restaurants in each. IMHO... this place serves the best Sichuan food bar none. The owner is from Fengdu, one chef from Chongqing, and the other from Chengdu. My wife is also from Fengdu and agrees... the best. So flavorful, so ridiculously spicy. Yummmmm!
Decent and affordable, but average at best. Typical Chinese carry out place. I am still looking for what I consider to be an outstanding Chinese restaurant in Kansas City.
Sushi Pan Asian. Local Family owned and Operated. Korean Chinese Dishes with Full Sushi Bar and Japanese Thai influences. Serving Lunch and Dinner and Happy Hour Menu.
This is the first time we came here. We were with another couple. When we arrived there were very few people seated. Our server came by right away to give us menus & take our drink order. She was patient, as we took a while to order, mainly because we were talking a lot to catch up.They have a full menu of options for fish, sushi, etc. They also have a few choices of other Asian dishes - Korean, Thai.I had the Phad Thai with shrimp. My wife had the Chicken dinner.Bother were very good. Prices are a little higher than other restaurants serving the same food.

Being a sushi snob from Southern California, I don't eat sushi unless I'm home, that all changed yesterday! Han Shin surpassed expectations! Hamachi melted in my mouth! Very friendly and attentive, I'll reserve further comment until I go again, which will be very soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Hot Basil. My meal was great and the service was good during my visit. The leftovers were great too! A gentleman sitting near me was so funny - his meal arrived but was much spicier than he anticipated. However, he wouldn't stop eating it and exclaimed several times that it was "just so good" despite causing his eyes to water, his nose to run, and him drinking about a pitcher of water while he ate! My pad Thai was perfect at "medium" but was spicier than most "medium" I have encountered. Really, a great meal though!

Award-winning design is obvious in this 60-seat restaurant; upon entering, the simple storefront transitions into a warm contemporary environment. The restaurant was awarded 31/2 stars out of 4 by the Kansas City Star. A full bar & menu of teriyaki, grill
Recently made my second trip to the Sushi House in Town Center. It is a VERY busy, bustling place and reservations are recommended for weekend nights. Principally because there is no waiting room, and waitees are smashed against walls, blocking the entranceway and door. But once seated! The sushi is very fresh and beautifully prepared. Both visits I've had a few single pieces of sushi followed by one of their most excellent Bento box dinners. Ive had both Teriyaki steak, and chicken, and both are very good. Nice quantity of ship and veggie tempura, some rice and a small salad, several pieces of california roll and your entree selection. More than enough food without the sushi, but I'm a sucker for some raw tuna. Service is good and very tasty fried ice cream for dessert. I really like this place, but they really need to move to a bigger space. Go hungry.

Like anothe reviewer (lindakmom) just posted, we arrived during happy hour (not realizing this) and even though it was far from full, the service we received from hostess to server was lackluster.THe food was good though and being there during happy hour and gettng an unexpected discount on my sushi made it all the better. We apologize for your experience. sister restaurant of Blue Koi in Kansas Missouri
Always impressed with this place. They are so consistent in all aspects of their service and food quality for a locally owned restaurant! We love their bubble teas (best in town) and tofu with spicy awesome sauce. â¤ï¸Not open Sunday (good for them) and acoustics a bit loud. Super patio.

We came here for the food and we werenât disappointed but it was the service that left a bad taste in our mouth. We seldom saw the server and had to resort to flagging him down to order, for a drink refill, and waiting so long for the check we could have eaten another meal. Do not come here if you are in a hurry.
