There are only a few Halal Chinese restaurant in the greater Los Angeles area. When I learned about a new one opening up in Laguna Hills, ORANGE COUNTY, it is a must to visit. Itâs been open for over a year now. It serves traditional Chinese Halal food. Iâve been here a few times and each time Iâve seen Not only Chinese but Islamic folks in the restaurant. Their food is very good and authentic, especially the bread - you need to order at once, since it is baked fresh and takes about 10-15 min. The restaurant offer good tasting food, but operationally still need to mature. I suggest you bring your appetite and patience - if you are visiting over a weekend or the dinner rush hours. Usually a long line. We try to go early or make a reservation. When it is busy - you may have to wait for your table and food. Thatâs when the patience comes in

Had the Sashimi appetizer, and the Alaskan roll. Sasha (my daughter) ordered the soy beans and the La Paz roll. The La Paz roll has a crispy soft shell crab in it. Everything was delicious and fresh. For drinks a small hot sake and an ice tea. Total bill with tax was 35.00.We sat in the patio on back and the staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely return when I am back in that area.

This restaurant is in a CVS parking lot. It doesn't look perfectly enticing, but the food is quite nice. They have great curry and the BBQ ribs are very tasty. Everything we had was done nicely and the staff was very pleasant. This is definitely a regular restaurant with a decent price tag.

Located half mile southeast of the I-5 and Lake Forest Drive interchange, on Rockfield Blvd, and well-hidden in a small strip mall (between Salvation Army and the Boot Barn) the BHAN BAITONG Thai restaurant offers an amazing array of Asian delicacies. Since I am familiar with Chinese and Japanese food, but not Thai food, this restaurant became a âculinary adventureâ in which I could try different dishes without hesitation. This small storefront restaurant presents a comfortable modern Asian ambiance. Their food, made to order with fresh quality ingredients, is full of delicious flavors. The way that I can describe our dining experience is a celebration of flavors. I will return to fully explore their menu.

We ate here on a business trip to the area. The food was pretty good, but the service was extremely slow. It was a nice day, so we sat outside to soak up some sun, and I think the waiter basically forgot about us. He took a long time to even take our order and we ended up having to go inside to pay since he never came back to take the check. As there was only one other table inside with people at it, I can't imagine that it was do to how busy the restaurant was. The food was good, and I was traveling with a woman from South India who also thought it was good (for credibility building sake). I had the lamb biryani and one warning - even if you order mild, it will still be pretty hot (good nonetheless). Overall, I don't think I would go here again based solely on the slow service. .

The food here is very tasty. You have your choice of Thai or Chinese. The soups are tangy and delicious. My friend and I usually order a Thai dish and a Chinese dish and split them. Prices are reasonable.Parking can sometimes be a problem before 5:30.Service is friendly and prompt.

Both times we were at Kula Sushi there were a lot of children there, probably because it brings out your inner child to see the revolving sushi train and the automatic conveyance of special orders directly to the booth that ordered them. We had the three new baked sushi dishes and mochi ice cream. We recommend all of them. If there are two or more in your party, we also recommend sitting in a booth because it is much more fun that way. There are several Kula Revolving Sushi Bars in the Southland, and judging from the size of the crowds, it is a popular concept. Good prices, good value.

Classic Chinese Restaurant (æ£ä¸) is the busiest restaurant in Laguna Hills. Today, thereâs no exception. When we done with our lunch, there were already long lines at the door. The restaurant was inside and out modest. Service was cordial and proper. We of 7 ordered: Peking Duck (å京ç¤é´¨, delicious); Honey Walnut Shrimp (æ ¸æ¡è¦, classic); Braised Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetable (æ¢ èæ£è, tasty); Tofu with Mixed Seafood (æµ·é®®è±è , extraordinary, so-to-speak); French Style Filet Mignon (æ³å¼çæ³, marvelous); leaf mustard (è¥èå¿, not my favorite, though); and Red spotted fish (ç´ ææ´»é, outstanding: fresh and juicy/mouthwatering, even though, expensive). We enjoyed very much the lunch and our long-enduring friendship.

We had lunch at Kotobuki before shopping at Trader Joe's. We sat at a table that seemed very private. We ordered sautéed asparagus which was delicious. We are very grateful for Japanese restaurants that offer plum wine by the glass, and Kotobuki did not disappoint us. Our main course, beef teriyaki with miso soup and salad, was excellent. We had ice cream for dessert: mango and green tea. It seemed that our server was one of the owners, and she was very pleasant and helpful. The food came promptly and we did not have to wait for the bill. The man at the sushi counter welcomed us and thanked us when we left. The price seemed low for the quality of the food and friendly service.
