Located in Wollishofen, Winit's Restaurant can be accessed with Tram #7 (Post or Morgental). The interior atmosphere of the place is very nice from the traditional Thai decorations, figurines, photos, and more and then a large wall-mounted TV. The rear garden patio has been beautifully landscaped with Buddha figures, well-manicured shrubs, trees, flowers and most tables have protective umbrellas.The service and staff were extremely nice from the minute I walked in the door. I had made reservations online and my table was reserved and waiting for me.I visited during their one-year anniversary, which is being celebrated until the end of June. In celebration of their first year, they were offering the AYCE (aâ discretion) lunch buffet for only 19.50CHF (5CHF cheaper than their normal pricing). The buffet included fish, beef, chicken, pork, pasta, noodles, rice, and an egg dish. A dessert was also included in the price.The food was very good and spiced appropriately. One item not previously mentioned, a beverage MUST be purchased with the AYCE buffet; this is not the case if ordering from the a la carte menu.Winitâs offers free secured Wi-Fi for customers, spotless restrooms, and soothing background music. They also have a separate, walk-up Take-Away window. Management allows and encourages for those wishing to take photos. They participate in the Lunch Check System and the POINZ system. A Recommendation: The buffet food must be replenished faster for the lunch rush crowd, as several times there was a wait for some dishes to be replenished, and when these dishes were replenished, at times, it was only with small portions which quickly disappeared again. Also, at times the food could have been better heated on the buffet. I still rate Winitâs five stars and would certainly visit again.Dear GuestThank you for your positive feedback. Tiiffins has been for years a solid choice in Seefeld and still is. Food selection rather in the Thai/Curry/HK style, with daily specials. Waiters always friendly&fast. Can be a bit packed inside especially during the cold season, since no reservation are possible, but in Summer the outside tables on the Seefeld street are nice. There is as well a fast take away service counter with an efficient online reservation tool. Oldest vegetarian restaurant... Very good variation in dishes and you really want to try them all. You can choose at the buffet and pay by weight: it is not cheap... More expensive than a curry at a Thai place with meat, and not as tasty... Blend flavors in the dishes to have a safe choice for all. I would advice to them to stick closer to the original country flavors to make the dishes stand out more. This restaurant is really good, The food was very good and the portions quite big. The service was quick and friendly and they clearly kept a good eye on all tables as I noticed that wine glasses did not go empty and other empty glasses were quickly removed. Sushi not at all what we expected - would not order sushi at this restaurant. Edamame was good, prawn dumplings were ok. Kid's menu had chicken fingers so grandkids were happy. Probably a great place for a drink when the weather is good. Pretty restaurant. As all things in Zurich - overpriced for what you get.Dear Terry Thank you very much for your feedback. We came for dinner to this wonderful Viatnamese/Asian restaurant. All service personnel was extremely friendly, attentive and very helpful. Food came quickly (we did not go for the large buffet) and tasted excellent. On top the Thach looks so much better from the inside than the outside. Is this a helpful review? In Zurich for a business trip, I've been to this Asian restaurant without any idea of the quality of the food and service. As the weather was warm and perfect, I had diner outside. The welcome was warm and Professional, service was top and food amazing. I don't have much experience regarding sushi place in Zurich but this one is a place to go and I will go back there for sure.Price are the price you can expect in Zurich, no less, no more.

We have been to this place at least 8 or 10 times in the last 3 years or so. Great location smack in the middle of Thalwil, easy parking, cozy and welcoming.Food is good. Actually very good.Service is outstanding. Husband and wife tag team, always smiling, super nice and efficient.Prices are normal Swiss (high like everywhere) but this is one of the few places where when I pay I feel that it is "ok" because not only I ate a good meal but I am also helping the business of such nice people prosper.I highly recommend.
