Things to do in Kulim
Vegetarian Restaurant for lunch, dinner and events (eg: wedding, birthday, annual dinner and travel trip dining)
The Luxury Vegan Restaurant in Malaysia (Only this one). Quite far from city, located at MBI DESAKU which is an hour journey from City. We were pleased to visit this restaurant by my auntie. The lighting nice and Luxury atmosphere Restaurant is big and with a multi function hall at level 2. What a pity, no many visitors. Food is superb, more choices, we ordered a set menu with 8 courses. Every dishes with good presentation and delicious. Service is excellent and well taken care. Thank you for the team.
According to my colleague, this location is considered the high end restaurant, in Kulim, you can get a meal as low as RM3-4, this location will probably cost RM10-15, depending what you takeI have tried the nasi bryani+ lamb rendang, veg + a drink (Mango Izzit, I think I spelt wrongly, this is a blended mango yogurt), perfect drink for hot afternoonThe lamb rendang is damn good too, a bit spicy, goes well with the rice.No forgetting that this place is air con, though a bit higher price, but it is still worth it, that explains that this place is usually crowded during lunch time
The food is good, the environment is good, location is far away from congested city and it is truly a "Kampung" house right in the middle of Lunas,Kedah. One of the few authentic Nyanya restaurant around. The downside of this place is, the kuih nyonya is always sold out and lesser desserts option. Overall it is a good experience!
From traditional "Pisang Rebus" to western sytle food. We had our "buka puasa" session last year. We skipped the buffet style. Go for the a la carte. Though not much inside the menu book but i am sure for a reason. Quality. It took no time for us to wnjoyed the "pisang rebus"- steamed local bananas that was enjoyed with coconut flakes or brown sugar or chilli paste. Up to your preferences. The lamb chops in bbq sause was awesome. And MonRods did have an extra mile. A live performance local artist that that's just feel right. Better make a booking...

Back to Basic Cooking with one and only open see thru kitchen... Adopting the traditional way of cooking with bakau mangrove charcoal fire. At Charcoal everything is cooked on a custom designed Charcoal Grill to enhance the flavor of natural cooking. Spec
I am visiting a work plant in Kulim. The managers were kind enough to take us to lunch at Charcoal. It was really good. I had a noodle dish. Had a little unexpected spice but was good. If you want iced or cold water make sure you specify that. I got hot water
A Taiwan-style fluffy cake worth the long queue. Recommending cheese flavor. A few caveats though: 1) For better taste, slicing service is not available. 2) Each person can only buy 2 pieces if there is a queue. 3) Chocolate flavor will only fresh out from oven twice per day â at 12pm and 6pm. Each person can only buy 1 piece. 4) The cake lasts for one day under room temperature, and 3 days if kept in fridge.

Whether you are going to have a business lunch, dinner, or just a drink after a busy day, our hotel-run restaurant will always meet your needs. Urban Inn offers not only cozy hotel stay but also keenly priced a-la-carte menu specially created by our chef
I brought my staff of 30 pax to this Inn's dining area for late lunch/early dinner. Had to call up the Inn and do some reservation. The staffs were very friendly and ensured everything was up to our liking. Food was super good with large portions. Even the kids enjoyed the food.

The cafe serves international cuisines such as western, Indian, Chinese and local Malay food's. The taste is absolutely something to devour for. Same as the beverage. One drink i would all recommend to try is "Lychee Mojito". It taste heavenly. Other then that, mutton briyani, kungpao chicken and their Thai fried rice taste superb! Customer service is highly priority at this cafe as the way they handle and service the customers are something to applaud with. Never tried their cakes thou, will definitely try that on my next visit as they looks fresh and inviting.

Set in a village style environment, this place offers the peace and tranquility that not many places have these days... Our first thought would be a typical malay food serving restaurant, but be prepared to be amazed when the menu is brought to you by its owner.Fluent English speaking Malay lady who serves a mixture of "Mat Saleh" dishes blended with some local "Ulams". While you dine among fruit trees, there are also homestay rooms that you can book for the night.. Simply amazing....
