Nice atmosphere, good food. Not my first choice for sushi, though. There are better options if you have a car.

If you are looking for excellent, tasty, and flavorful Asian cuisine, you MUST eat at Mai's. I've been eating their food for years, starting at the farmer's market savoring their stuffed wings.I was so happy, when they opened a restaurant (several years ago). I have a difficult time ordering, because everything on the menu looks so good. The menu is eclectic and there are gluten free and vegetarian options too.Guess that I'm just working my way down the menu. Just had Pad Ka Pau. Simply delicious. I ordered it with tofu (there's a pork option too), because they make their tofu with just the right amount of crisp. The spices in this dish definitely compliment each other. The Pad Ka Pau is a little on the spicy side (as noted on the menu), and for me, just the right amount of spice. Mai's Deli is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Appleton.

Delicious! We enjoyed delivery of Orange Chicken, Hunan Style Pork, Eggrolls, and Crab Rangoon. The Orange Chicken was our favorite followed by *huge* Crab Rangoon's. Egg Rolls we're good as was the Hunan Style Pork, though we enjoy explosive flavor, and the Pork was too mild for our taste despite requesting extra hot.
The decor is updated and pleasant. Service was very good. I had Hunan shrimp and spouse had chicken with mixed vegetables. Mine was amongst the best I've ever had. Spouse said hers was even better than our favorite Chinese restaurant, very high praise. We will be frequent customers!!

This was our first visit and it won't be our last. We had a party of 5 people and we all ordered different dishes off of the menu. Everyone gave their dish an excellent rating. I had fried rice with scallops and it was delicious. You receive a big serving so I had some to take home. The service was excellent as well.

This restaurant does not look like much from the street. Do not let this fool you! The staff and chefs pay close attention to blending flavors and textures to make fantastic dishes. The Bun Nuong was well-composed. The pork fried rice, which is rolled into balls and fried, followed by being broken open and served lettuce-wrap style is both flavorful and a great texture combination. What a great find during a business trip.

This establishment is now called Hong Kong Buffet. The place is clean and well laid out. The food is hot and well stocked. The stuffed mushrooms are amazing! The salmon was very good and the meat/vegetable dishes were very tasty. I was, however, disappointed in the peanut butter chicken and the crab rangoons. The peanut butter chicken had a runny sauce instead of a paste on the chicken. You could hardly taste the flavor of the peanut butter. The crab rangoons did not have the cream cheese in them as usual servings of this product normally has. The cream puffs were great! The sushi is ok but the wasabi was of a lower quality. The servers are friendly and quick to serve you.

It's a fine dining restaurant that served Chinese food and Sushi, we also have Hibachi and Teriyaki from the kitchen. Take out is another option you can have.
Four of us had dinner here for the first time. We were greeted enthusiastically and seated immediately. Our server promptly appeared and took our drink orders. They were quickly brought and our food orders taken. Three of us started with soup; one began with a salad all of which was served pronto. As we finished with these starters, our entrees were brought well prepared and presented. Each of us found our meals tasty and ample. Service was excellent. We will return.

Friendly staff, accommodating. Sushi isn't good if it isn't fresh and believe me this food is fresh. Unique concept for the area. I did not care for the fruit roll or the apple roll for dessert. The nori does not compliment those dishes well at all. But the cheesecake rangoon was a spot on hit for dessert. The combinations on flavors for vast varieties of main dish rolls, that float past you on the boats, open your tastebuds to new experience. The price may seem alot, but not for the fresh tastes and all you can eat, as well as what you can request special.

First I would like to start by saying I've been in the food service industry for 18 years. That being said my review has nothing to with the food, it is always great. However I was sitting at the bar like I always do observing the busy Saturday night hustle and bustle of the dinner service. The bartender, Scott who is always amazing, great personality and provides wonderful service was very busy. He had guests to serve, drinks to make for the servers and a ton of glassware to wash. Meanwhile the manager on duty was standing at the end of the bar doing nothing, except maybe flirting with a single guy that was patronizing the bar that night (could have even been her boyfriend?). How she didnt feel obligated to help I have no idea. She may as well have been on her phone or not there at all. This is not how a manager should act, a manager should be busting their butt just as hard as the other employees if not harder. The lack of work ethic was hard to watch as the other employees were rushing around trying to get caught up. I also want to touch a bit on the other bartender that night, it was a women with very long brown hair. I counted five times that she played with/fingered her hair, its gross, your handling food and drinks keep your hands off your hair! This was from about 2 months ago.Hi ltlniki, I want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us from your previous visit. We will be speaking with our team privately about the situation and use this as a learning tool when we address it collectively. As with per our food quality and Scott's ongoing commitment to providing the best service, we appreciate you pointing this out.If there are any additional comments or suggestions worth sharing with us, we would love to hear from you. You can reach us at [email protected] or conduct a private message to us via this platform.
