I went to this restaurant with my local friend in Kalaw and found it really interesting. It's such a charming place with great atmosphere. Super delicious food and the staffs are friendly. Kalaw these days is becoming popular destination for Local Myanmar Travelers. So, you won't be feeling perfect if you don't go to this restaurant.Thank you so much for your review us .

I had dinner here tonight at the recommendation of my guide. I started with pumpkin soup which was quite nice so I was excited for the meal. Then my guide was served fish with lime, which turned out to be a sweet and sour lime sauce that tasted like Rose's Lime Juice. Nasty stuff. My guide is from Myanmar and she couldn't even eat it. Next an avocado salad appeared which was very nice. But finally my prawns in hot and sour sauce arrived ... I only had one bite because the smell of the prawns was so .... prawny! Lol. I mean so strong and unappetizing I had them remove the dish from the table. Sadly we were both very disappointed. I don't think I would risk another visit.

We have eaten so well and relaxed in Home Again. The best and affordable meal we have ever gotten in Kalaw. As all great work, food here takes time and carefully prepared. The experience was unexpected. We had a great lunch and beautiful experience eating here. It is peaceful and has an overlooking view of the hill and chirping birds. Full packed of nature goodness. So please do visit and experience it on your own.

Have a memorable dining experience at Gloria Cafe & Restaurant during your visit to Kalaw.
We were craving some more western food and we decided to come here as the decor was simple but attractive! The menu offers a wide selection of food from Thai, Burmese and western. We ordered fish & chips and a yummy chicken Kiev! Or was delicious! The drinks were also yummy! I highly recommend this place specially if the next day you are off fir a trekk!

My friend and I ordered the Shan noodles and a clay pot....both were nice. The Shan noodles were so delicious we ordered another portion, really tasty, hot and just the right amount of spice. No alcohol but didn’t matter and clearly a favorite with locals as we were the only westerners in at that time. Well worth it.

It Was An Old Movie-theatre By The 1953,presenting Indian, english And Burmese Movie But For The Burmese Movie The Synchronized Groups Of People Had To Follow The Scripts And Music That Is Why It Was Named A Talkie-house.
We had an excellent quality of food, tranquil and charming atmosphere, very pleasant prices, delicious Indian food, slightly higher prices for the parts than we've seen elsewhere, but still worth visit.Location is middle of Kalaw town. Very spacious restaurant. Very clean and tidy tables and huge hall. Staff was very friendly and helpful .I recommend the Chicken Kadai and mint rice for non vegetable person, but I had Potato Purry. . Ordinary service is slow,so be patient here, and take relax.

Seriously people, if you ranked this place highly then what have you been eating? We have better quality in Yangon esp the Indian quarters. Expectations are high when everyone LOVED it plus the supposedly heritage aspect. But sorry it’s a NEIN. Of course it’s clean, it has English menu bla bla bla but for 18,000ks it’s rather high for kalaw standard, even for Yangon

Despite the Fact that the Avocado Salad was sold out three days in a row, i recommend it good, because it might be not the season. but the food is very delicious and tasty.

Also known as the Seven Sisters Restaurant. Listed in 2009 Lonely Planet guide for Myanmar, page 228.
The service was friendly and attentive, but we felt that the quality of the meal was average and the price was much higher than what we were accustomed to paying for a meal throughout our travels in Myanmar. Definitely caters to tourists only... no local patrons during our meal there.
