We had Chicken chettinad, Egg masala, Kerala fried Chicken, Kerela paranthas & boiled rice for lunch to have a local taste.Sambhar, Rasam, Kadhi & chutneys being served on the house at all tables while our visit. The delectable preparations were not only savourved but also lauded by kids with insistence for repeat visit during stay. The restaurant is the Best in locality w.r.t. price, variety & quality barometer. The public rush on all tables occupied gave clear verdict of the choice & reliability. The location too is Good given that one stays at upper end of Munnar Town.Though does not have alluring decor but clean tables await guests..... Worth visiting repeatedly while at Munnar town.

A great place for authentic Kerala cuisine. We visited this everyday for lunch and dinner during our stay at Thekkady. The menu has good variety and the rates are pocket friendly. I specially liked the Kerela thalis with lots of tasty and fresh items. The waiters are enthusiastic and helpful and suggested the ones that we should definitely try. The premises are clean and the washrooms well maintained. If you are visiting Thekkady, this is a place you shouldnât miss.

Ambadi is Thekkadyâs first heritage hotel built in the likes of a traditional Kerala village. The resplendent architecture and buildings blend with the stunning background of the wildlife sanctuary. Traditional hospitality greets you to a fine experience,

The Bamboo Cafe is a favorite restaurant of tourists and local people, the food is really good and so is the service. I like their Tandoori dishes, Roti, butter chicken and Kebab and noodles is also a good choice. The outlet is recommended for both Non-vegetarian and Vegetarian food and the rates are also affordable. One of the restaurants in Thekkady which we can recommend without hesitation because they won't disappoint you regarding the quality and taste of the food and the service offered to the guests.

Abad Copper Castle has a Multi cuisine Restaurant serving Indian, Continental and Chinese dishes. The Restaurant has a magnificent view of the Valley. The Lawn garden is an ideal place for Camp Fire party.
A high level of supervision was very evident during our 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners enjoyed here. Ann adequate western al a carte menu available of the usual spicy Indian buffet fare. A dining room with a view if the smoke and dusty fog allows. No fresh bananas for breakfasts. Why?

We ended up having dinner at Grandma's Cafe twice during our stay in Thekkady. The ambience is great, the team is super helpful, the food is delicious (try anything off the menu - it will be amazing) and there's cold beer to go with the food. However, owing to the popularity of this place, you'll need to either make a reservation (and reach on time) or reach early for a seat. You may need to wait for a table as well - so please do keep all of these in mind while going for a meal to Grandma's Cafe.Recommended.

Our hotel had recommended this restaurant to us - which was great because I had the best Chicken 65 here! We were served by a lovely lady who runs this place along with her family. The kitchen is open (though behind glass windows), and you can see the matron of the place cooking for you. They also serve cold beer to go along with your food. So if you want some great starters and beer, served by some really lovely people, do visit Spice Garden.

A Keralan cookery class in a local home - great fun, great food and lots of inspiring recipes to try once we are back home. The ebullient Sheril had us chopping, grating and frying all kinds of delicious dishes, as well as kneading and stretching dough to make Keralan Parathas.
