We enjoyed our last takeaway from here earlier this year so thought weâd try it again. It was even better as this time I had the regular onion bhajis instead of the vegan variety. They tasted much better. Friendly service and early delivery. Generous amounts of chicken and every dish very tasty. All four of us really enjoyed our meals.

We drove a reasonable distance to eat here on Monday evening, itâs our favourite âIndianâ restaurant within 10 miles of our home and we visit around once a year.We had garlic chilli chicken and korai chicken with 2 x special rice, Bombay potatoes and onion bhajis. We both agreed that the garlic, chilli chicken was the better option of the two as it had more flavour and heat, there were a couple of tough pieces of chicken but there was enough meat to compensate. The potatoes and rice were delicious and the bhajis pretty good so we were happy overall - I also ordered a chicken dansak to takeaway which was decent too.The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the service friendly but doesnât quite reach the levels we used to experience when we first used the place regularly about 10 years ago. The curries are very oily so takeaway may be a better option for us in the future to enable us to drain the excess away which is quite important to us for medical reasons.Weâll continue to return here occasionally as it remains one of the best in an area largely bereft of good curry restaurants.

Wonderful food at Kazuko, with generous portions for the price. The last time we ate here, we had the miso aubergine, pumpkin croquettes, a beef dish, calornia roll (sushi) and some sesame wings. Everything is lovely! They currently don't offer a takeaway delivery option (I definitely think this is something they should think about), though if you ring and place an order, you are always able to collect in about 20 mins. It's quite difficult to get a table in here most days of the week, so I would definitely recommend booking a table in advance. Favourite takeaway in Hitchin.

Exceptionally lovely restaurant inside, and the staff are very welcoming.Being vegetarian they we were willing to change dishes (Paneer) to caterer to our needs, the portion sizes are pretty decent too! First ever visit and enjoyed it very much. Not too busy for a wednesday evening just enough hubbub to make it feel welcoming but not obtrusive, so we could chat and hear each other. No obtrusive background music which I dislike immensely.Service was quiet and efficient with plenty of smiles and just the right amount attention.Only problem was ordering Chinese tea got a blank response from young server but boss lady offered jasmine tea which was great.All food was piping hot and very fresh, you could taste the quality of the ingredients and the fried sea bass was fantastic according to my friend.The sharing platter for appetisers was very nice but nothing special I doubt they were made in-house. Not a complaint and I would simply choose something else from the many options available next time I visit.I had a king prawn and pineapple curry which was very good, prawns were cooked just right. The curry sauce was rich and just a nice after taste of heat from the spices which is just how a seafood curry should be.My other friend had the lamb massaman curry which he said was excellent.We all had fried banana's for dessert, I person went without the coconut topping and I must say that would be my choice too next time. Depends how much you like coconut to be honest.Definitely will be going back but it is unlikely to be a weekly venue (which is a shame) as our bill was £120 for 3 people and that was with only a couple of beers.So in summary, nice place, nice food, good service I just need to earn more money to go more often.DearSaucydiner, Thank you for dining with us and for taking the time to leave a lovely review. My family and I have been going to this restaurant every Saturday for over 2 years,We pre-book as from midweek on wards it gets very busy,Also after 7pm at weekends it fills up quickly and if party's are in it can get a bit loud as people try talk over 1 another.(The only down side)Food always excellent hot and very tasty staff are friendly and will recommend meals to try out if unsure.If your out and fancy an curry,eat in or take away,I would highly recommend this restaurant.times we bump into many returning customers so I need to say no more!10/10Terry Julie and JoeTerry Julie and Joe, you guys are apart of our furniture. We went for the gourmet night which is great value for money and includes a starter, main, side, rice or naan and coffee. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was good and staff friendly.
