*HALDI*-is the Bangladeshi word for *Turmeric. It is the spice that gives curry color it has been used in Asia for thousands of year as a spice and medicinal herb. It is a Bangladeshi and Indian restaurant located on 93 Albert road, Southsea. Our uniquely
Excellent meal, very good value, customer service first class. Found restaurant via tripadvisor, majority of reviews gave a glowing report and my wife and I were certainly not disappointed. Possible one of the tastiest Indian meals we both ever had. Thanks to all the staff

Indian Takeaway and Restaurant with fully licensed. 129-131 Elm Grove, Hayling Island, Hampshire, United Kingdom
I was impressed with the flavours of the meal I ordered. Staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant is small but nicely decorated. What I felt let it down was that the room felt cold. Granted I went early but it should have been warmer.

Having traveled from Nottinghamshire to stay at a local hotel, this restaurant was recommended to us by a local resident. A very good choice !

I had tried the buffet meal a year ago and was ill afterwards so reluctantly tried the restaurant again mid October, but from the menu this time. The menu was extensive and the food was delivered well and tasted very good. However almost immediately after leaving the restaurant I was violently sick so something I ate had been off, badly off. I eat curry food often and have not had this problem in other restaurants. Twice sick after Moghul food! No thank you so I wonât return.

this is the only Chinese restaurant on the island where you can sit in to eat, the food is excellent and the people are very nice, obviously it's a bit more expensive than others on the island but well worth it.

We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival and escorted to our table. All the food we ordered was really excellent quality and very tasty. The 4 of us eating so we all tried each others dishes, a great way to try something new. I would certainly visit again with out hesitation. The menu was also more interesting than your bog standard Indian. Quite a few dishes I had not come across before. The waiters were also quite happy to make dishes hotter/less spicey if you required it. Really excellent service.

We ordered from here back in March - duck spring rolls were undercooked (pastry was raw!). We decided to give them another chance today. The squid was delicious but everything else was tasteless. The steamed dumplings are not the same as what they were - they looked grey and tasted of nothing! The pad Thai noodles were all clumped together and the amount of oil in the beef with mushroom dish was so high, that there was just a sheen of oil on the top. The tamarind duck was tough and no longer comes with crispy noodles. This is so sad to be writing this review, as before the new owners, food always used to be so good!
