Despite living a 15 min drive away this is the place my kids insist we get takeaway from. Itâs relatively standard Japanese food, nothing particularly outstanding but itâs consistent and tasty. Weâve never been disappointed. The Chicken Katsu Curry and Crispy Chicken Don are our usual selections, indeed I cannot get the kids to order anything else. Theyâve also tried several other Japanese places closer to home but sadly they, apparently, donât compare to Zipang. Iâm stuck with a bit of a drive it would seem. The Beef Yakiniku is also terrific and worth a try, as is the Special Beef Don. The staff are Japanese and extremely polite and friendly. Weâve only ever had takeaway but there are a few seats inside. Beware, itâs cash only. Happy to recommend.

We recently spent a delightful evening with overseas guests at the Harbour View Restaurant, which is located in the Sandringham Yacht Club premises. The food was great and nicely presented. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The bonus is the magnificent views across the bay at sunset

Jirochyo consistently serves delicious food in an authentic setting. If you are not fussed by price and can cope with slightly disorganised and at times, slow service, then Jirochyo will deliver a great experience. Consistency of great quality food sets this eatery apart in Hampton.

I'm not a huge Thai fan but this was pretty decent food. Went there with a group of wine enthusiasts and we ordered a bunch of the usual Thai fare such as fish cakes, chicken skewers, Pad Thai, Larb and some beef dishes. They were all good, well presented and quickly served. It's standard suburban Thai but still good.

Visited here with family. The three of us dined like royalty. When I heard "all-you-can-eat" I immediately thought buffet style - no way. Attentive staff were prompt with our initial order, aware when we had finished the selection of food brought, cleared plates and took further orders. We enjoyed a wide range of dishes and all were superb. The menu was comprehensive and we all wished we could have fitted in more food and sampled even more dishes. Okami has a good system - dishes are sized according to the number of diners at your table so, for instance, the "pieces" on each plate allow for 2 per person. The more people at the table, the more of each dish received.Not cheap, but amazing food and generous servings and variety.

Discovered this wonderful small Thai restaurant over a year ago and now regular patrons. The food is authentic fresh and beautifully presented in generous proportions. Absolute favourite is the Whoke Deep Fried Tamardind fish. The best we gave ever had We eats this rest as yesntvthe best Thai in Melbourne

Great little restaurant that has been an institution in Brighton for years. Never has the standard dropped with food or service. Has a function room upstairs that is perfect for small medium parties etc. Their lunch special is excellent value and delicious. Canât go wrong here.

Great local restaurant.We have been there a multiple time. Once with kids, and three other times with friends.Food was great, except for one time, when we ordered Salt & the Pepper Squid Salad. Squid wasn't good, it has a smell.We return it, but they didn't offer us anything else and charged us for it...We will definitely will go there again, but no squid for us next time :)
