I base my review of this restaurant based on numerous visits to this restaurant over many years. The restaurant has that old 70s look and feel to it. There have been some changes over the years but nothing close to a transformation. The food is a good. A little above the average. Prices are on the higher side and portions are medium sized. Service is bad. It has always been slow and recently the waiters seem to have become rude and a bit arrogant. The ambiance is decent. Fairly quiet but can get crowded during the peak hours. I recommend this restaurant for a quick vegetarian meal though I would advise diners to stick to traditional Kerala dishes. Additionally I would recommend not choosing the seats close to the Wash area. It can get quite crowded over there.

What really caught my eye is, the signage "welcome into the kitchen". How proud they must be about their confidence. Generally we find no entry to kitchen. The warm water they serve anytime is another welcome gesture. That discourages us from using water from plastic bottles. Isn't that one must learn from these restaurants. Many star hotels are not confident about serving treated water instead they sell bottled water. Coming back to this restaurant, food is very tasty and space is very hygiene. They serve very fast.

Thulasi,Our restaurant specialized in multi-cuisine,yet highlighting the cuisine of south India,is a space of hygiene and clean air, exquisitely furnished with energetic and exuberant servers at your beck and call.
We were staying in Krishna Inn, hence the complementary breakfast was served here. The place is nice, clean and well kept; serving mostly the in house guests. The breakfast spread was adequate, with a couple of typical Malayalee breakfast cuisines. I liked the wheat upma. The air circulation of the centralised air-conditioning was quite uncomfortable at the seats we were located, but had no choice. The dosa was stacked up in the self service bowl and that was not an interesting item to eat. The Vada was decent. Overall, it's a decent place to eat, only if you don't want to step out and look for more options.

As the name indicates this is the most popular affordable filter coffee drinking place with Indian taste. One can have lunch , vegetable biriyani as well as other light refreshments, fresh fruit juice etc over here. Food is delicious but there is always a scope for improving the presentation. Recommended

We went tonthis restaurant on recommendation but were a bit disappointed. The dinner choices were very limited and the service was poor. The service staff was not pleasant or helpful- could be beacuse we spoke no Malayalam ( the local language)The tiffins were good but Thali was cold and average.

Saravana Bhavan Guruvayur is just 100 yards from Guruvayurappan Temple,a Vegetarian Restaurant.Nothing to do with the Branded Saravana Bhavan Restaurants of Tamil Nadu.Moderately priced South Indian delicacies.

We had visited this hotel around 10PM and they were about to close. The cashier informed that parcel would be the best choice and we had ordered 1 masala dosa, 2 ghee roast and one set poori. The service was good and they had parceled the food very quick. Our stay was just 10 mints away from this restaurant and as soon as we started eating we realized that we cant eat it in any manner. Masala dosa was too much salted and the chutney was smelling bad. We tried the poori set and the masala curry tasted the same. Only the ghee roast tasted average. It seems like they are serving dishes without even checking it. We couldn't eat anything even after paying a good amount of money. Think twice before selecting this restaurant,

One of the good buffets available in Thrissur. We were received with by a warm welcome. The staff behaviour was very good and friendly. The ambience was pleasing for a family dinner. They did their best for us to dine with our infants. The food was okay. The buffet spread was wide, but lacked the taste. Food quality was good but not as yummy as it seems. Starters and main course were of wide varieties, topping with an awesome dessert section. Altogether, this was worth the spent.
