This DinTai Fung is very different from my Singapore Outlet. The Food there is not that tasty and the chilli is different from Singapore. Most restaurants in Genting will award points to your Genting Card when you make payment for your Bills but this DinTai Fung never accept this point system which deprive customers from getting Genting Points (GP). Not recommended at all.

We went there twice for two days trip.First trip we choose ala-carta steamboat. There got few packages. but we choose ala-carta order like how many plates of meat, vegetables. Order 26 items cost about 270Rm. Also include one pot of tea and one coke. For total of 5 adults.Soup we choose tom yam and chicken soup. The steamboat is two soup type. Next day we went we take 2 person steamboat cost about 98RM. Order side dish like steam fish and belacan kang kong. Total 470RM, the fish alone cost about 240RM. However will say their food is pretty fresh, like prawn, meat etc. Thus we feel enjoy and worth it. Recommended. Steamboat think is minimum 2 person. I saw one person eat maybe order side dish only.

This restaurant is located within Gohtong area, nestled among many other eateries. My wife and I decided to give this place a try when we arrived Genting Highlands around lunch time. From the facade, it was nothing out of the ordinary or impressive. The restaurant only had 1 table of patrons seated outside when we arrived which was quite worrying at first. We went ahead to order a deep fried Nam Yu style chicken wings, whole squid steamed with egg, venison slices fried with ginger and onions & toman fish slices fried with giner and onions. The fish slices were fresh and had a nice cruchy texture, the venison was tender but the sauce was a tad too salty, the squid was succulent and had a nice bouncy texture to it while the chicken wings came out as the winner. It was crispy on the outside while juicy and succulent on the inside plus it had a flavourful Nam Yu taste to it.Price was reasonable especially when considering everything in Genting Highlands is either 50% to 100% higher than in KL city centre. Will definitely return again to sample some of the other dishes that they offer.

Ordered Wild boar curry, watercress and stuffed tofu. Excellent in taste. Totally loved the watercress. There is a good sized store beneath the restaurant. There, you may get your coffees and titbits. Opposite the restaurant there are veggie and fruit stalls.

Lovely and big seating area but unfortunately very dated not been modernised table linen, walls etc. Service was excellent though and food was average. The chilli chicken had Hardly any chicken or cashew nuts in it. The fried radish was nice and the noodles too and the dumplings with wasabi prawns good. Service again fantastic the decor and some of the food let it down shame really.

Bad experience with king prawn tom yam - the meat was mushy in the tasty soup. Disappointed & had to discard a few matured & tough leaves from my emperor's salad (mieng kam) - I'd tasted better ones from a hawker stall in Chiengmai. The mouth watering durian tempura made up for my disappointment.

Step into Hainan Express and reminisce the simplicity of the good old days. We bring back the basics such as all-time favourite toasted breads with kaya, aromatic coffee and authentic Nasi Lemak.
While visiting Genting Highlands, we had family lunch at this nice restaurant. A variety of food (Indian,Japanese) was at the buffet. Food was delicious and enjoyed every item we had. On the side of dinning hall, there was lobby overlooking lush green mountains, residential buildings and cable cars. Nice view to take photographs.
