This restaurant has excellent chicken of all sorts, including chicken parts (winds, breasts, etc.), chicken sandwiches, and chicken "chops." Sometimes when I walk through the Veranza Mall I see some restaurants are empty, but BonChon always has customers and sometimes it is filled up. Your can order chicken parts in various assortments of 1-4 pieces in its "boxes," which includes rice and drinks, for 149 pesos. Its popular chicken sandwiches are substantial. They have just introduced double chicken sandwiches (though I don't know if this will remain permanently on their menu.) Its "chops" are sizeable chicken patties. You can have either garlic or spicy chicken. I surveyed reviews of BonChon restaurants in the Philippines and found that many people particularly like its spicy chicken, though personally I like its garlic chicken a little better. Personally, I like its sweet potato fries, its mango crepes and its chapchae, which is a stir-fry Korean noodle dish (though my wife thought this last dish too sweet). However, beyond its chicken and these last items, my wife and think most of this restaurant's dishes unexceptional. This restaurant is in a prominent location on the second level of the Veranza mall, at the corner of two main corridors. Through the floor to ceiling windows on one side of this restaurant, you can see the Veranza Mall's waterfalls Bonchon restaurants, which have Korean and American food, originated in Korea, and, a great success, came to the Philippines in 2010 and now is in more than 60 locations there.

No frills, tender and freshly-marinated chicken from the farm and straight to the kitchen, Nadie's started out in a small restaurant at the municipality of Tupi, South Cotabato and has since branched out to the city of General Santos. Unlike the mummified chicken barbecue of big chicken restos, Nadie's chicken were just recently harvested from their chicken farm. Each bite therefore is tender, juicy and does not taste rubbery. There's just enough sauce basted over it and so the sauce does not overwhelm. They also serve other meals and is a good source of homegrown sweets, pastries, cookies at their cashier counter table. Their branch at SM City General Santos has Student Meals. Service still has to improve though since it gets a while before your chicken is served to you. The KCC Mall of Gensan branch has a nice ambience altho the time I was there, they served really small chicken barbecue leg. Their main branch in Gensan along the highway has undergone renovations in the past but it still looks dingy. Toilet could be improved and cleaned up regularly. All of these can be overlooked however by the fact though that their barbecue chicken is really good!

used to enjoy mint cafe for itâs buffet breakfast. selection has significantly been reduced and not worth the 400 pesos they charge per head. selection was very basic and egg station was a disaster. i do hope they improve their menu offered and recover the prestige they had when they first started.

A foodventure (food adventure) to check out Fligo by Chef Minerva at General Santos City turned out to be the highlight of our day. This quaint, intimate and cozy spot offers you some of the world's unique gastronomical experiences right in the province. Dias are highlighted with their very own cuisine-of-the-day. Dishes are made from the freshest ingredients (they make their own pasta!) and produce which come from local suppliers (how's that for helping the sustainability of local farmers, eh?). Fligo by Chef Minerva is not your average restaurant in General Santos City. One of its uniqueness is that the menu changes depending on what the chef would like to explore; making diners at Fligo take a culinary journey with Chef Minerva at the helm.Be sure to have a taste of the different select variants of Kalinga beer (made in the mountain province of Kalinga, Apayao in the Philippines) and/or (because you can have all or just the one) Estrella Damm Inedit Beer created by elBullin Chef Ferran Adrià . Fligo is the only one that carries these in the city.If you love food or would just want to have that first-bite-makes-you-go-mmmmm-close-your-eyes-experience, best make a reservation and park your hungry self at Fligo. They're open from Mondays through Sundays. Enjoy!

I treated my family after a Recognition Day of the kids. I have a special fondness of their baby back ribs which is always consumed every time we order this. I am not fond of meat but i cheat every time \i eat their baby back ribs. Sarap talaga!

If you want to feel how the lpcals dine, this is your place to go. Various seafood can be seen in this place althpugh it may be a little less than seafood options in Larsian (Cebu) and a little more expemsive as well (lato is 80 pesos compared to larsian which is 50). Although, the food was still super delicious and worth the price. The place is also clean enough compared to the usual by the road eateries you usually see. On the other hand, the palce can get a little to crowded but the good thing the place where we ate accepts reservations. Overall the food was a great as well as the experience.P.S. we orderedLato - 80Sizzling bihud and bagaybay (fish eggs) - 180Tinola na ulo ng tuna -160Kinilaw - 160Barbeque (kids) -7/pc

Crabs cooked in yummy aromatics.This is the house specialty.And this southern cityâs crab offerings is just something not to miss! Another fave of mine is their Braised Pompano cooked perfectly! Their Prawns in Butter & Garlic.Tuna kilawin:ceviche is executed so deliciously! Roasted native chicken in local spices.This restaurant accept reservations which is best during weekends which is usually full.

Simple facade and interiors, this place is a self-serve type of restaurant. Walk up to the counter to place your order, select a table and wait.Food arrived fairly quickly. For a first-timer, I ordered one of the combos (CM2- 2pc garlic chicken with tuna kinilaw, dessert, ice tea and rice). Combo prices start at 130p.The kinilaw tasted fresh and the chicken was garlicky sweet (tasted like a home recipe). The rice was small but dense, iced tea was sweet and the dessert was flavoured jelly (I didn't touch it).The chicken tastes deceptively non-special, but is something you would crave for on certain days.I would give a higher rating but the staff weren't exactly helpful or accommodating.

We ordered crabs and shrimps in the same type of sauce and surprisingly they tasted differently, both good but the shrimps were more savory. Their fresh strawberry shake was really good. Their fast service was also notable.
