Having recently got back from Thailand wanting to share experiences with my fiance we decided to head off Bangkok Garden. After having a conversation with the owner and letting them choose what we should order I received stellar service. We actually ended up going back the very next day to try some different items we didn't have room for on the first day. I highly recommend this place it is one of my favorite places in Federal Way amazing food amazing service.

I come to this area often on business and this is the best place I've eaten so far. I ate here four times in three days and got takeout for the next days breakfast. Good prices, service, value and food. I recommend any of the sandwiches and the bubble tea.

I was passing through the area and really wanted sushi for dinner. There are so many restaurants serving Asian inspired cuisine in and around Federal Way; competition is high and the choice is bemusing. So I consulted reliable TripAdvisor! This one had such great reviews that I chose here. Once again the positive feedback was accurate. (how did us travellers manage before TA?!)The exterior may be a bit lacking and the interior a bit dark for my taste but the food and service was decidedly much brighter. The tables are spacious and if you prefer there are traditional Japanese eating areas too.Copious amounts of fresh green tea were provided whilst I made my choice from an extensive menu. I could then see the skilled chef put it all together. Every item I had chosen was perfectly constructed, fresh, full of flavour and simply delicious. There was no skimping on the accompanying pickled ginger or wasabi either. As is often the case with sushi and sashimi, I had over ordered, but naturally a box was provided so I could take the remainder away with me.Very highly recommended.

This was a wonderful meal and fun. We had 33 people they were able to seat us all together with 4 different chef tables. The chefs were fun, entertaining and provided delicious food. They are very efficient and top notch customer service. Would highly recommend, great for all ages, we ranged from 5 years to 85 years old!

Simply great good in a warm and comfortable environment. Their sushi excels and is far better than most sushi restaurants....and does not "break the bank."We've taken our family to Hanabi for several years and are treated as though we are part of their family. Our little grandsons each look forward to eating at Hanabi and trying "new things." Try it and don't fear the high prices that can be associated with sushi restaurants....and you'll enjoy their friendly service.

I've driven by this place for8 years and never gave it a thought. It's a small place and the outside stucco is painted an off-color florescent green that, in my opinion, makes it look pretty tacky. So when my Sister-in-Law took the family there to celebrate her other half's birthday, I was shocked once we were inside and looking through the menu. They not only had a huge selection to choose from, but the quantity was substantial, the cost was reasonable, and, when compared to other local Thai restaurants, the food was properly prepared. The sauces and curries were excellent, the spicy range was appropriate, and the cooks turned out top quality in a very reasonable time frame. The wait-staff kept a close eye on the table while staying clear until someone gave them a nod for additional service. The singular complaint I have is hey were out of "Coke" so I had to do "Sprite' instead.

My dining companion is Japanese. As we walked into this strip mall restaurant, he groused that it probably didnât even have Japanese cooks. We were seated by the Japanese hostess/server who was wearing a beautiful pink kimono. Our two bus boys were Japanese (bowing every time they dropped something off or talked to us). I joked to my companion â âJapanese enough for you?â We thought it was a little pricey while looking at the menus, especially for sushi (but I know everything is more expensive in WA). But the service matched the prices â they brought us the hot fingertip towels. The green tea was weak. Thatâs probably my only negative feedback. The Miso soup was the heartiest Miso soup Iâve ever had â lots of tofu, and even scrambled bits of egg (like egg drop soup). I got the salmon Teriyaki and tempura dinner. The salmon was incredibly soft and moist. The tempura was the lightest batter Iâve ever had. All the vegetables were cooked to perfection. My dining companion ordered a sushi combo. The presentation was pretty, and the fish looked really fresh. Both busboys attended to us; we never had to ask for anything. Our meals came with a Jell-o dessert. Did we want coffee or peach? I couldnât imagine what coffee flavored Jell-o tasted like, so we ordered peach. I expected peach flavored Jell-oâ¦No, it was clear gelatin with diced canned peaches in it. Bleh. OK, that was my other negative feedback. But overall, nice décor, delicious food, perfect service. A little gem of a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar.

Check out their menu online prior to your visit. It has many offerings and it could save you some time placing your order. Flavorful, generous portions that taste fresh and bright. Gracious, friendly service although it may take awhile to get your order, and they may not all arrive at the same time. Not a critique, just an observation. Clean, casual ambience. Pricing is appropriate for the quality of the food. The combo meal was a little disappointing, but that was probably my bad as I was not as familiar with offerings as I should have been. A bit off the beaten path but worth the trip.

Great ramen, good service, decent enough atmosphere. Menu has some limited vegetarian options. The bar for good food in Federal Way is pretty low, but this is probably one of the best restaurants in town. It's good for meeting up with friends or grabbing dinner while out shopping. As with all things in Federal Way, it is in a strip mall.

What a pleasant surprise when I walked in to this restaurant selected by a friend I was meeting for dinner. Although it's in the middle of a very busy shopping center, you wouldn't know it once you're inside. The decor is tasteful and subtle and we were pleased to have a lovely private corner booth that allowed us to easily converse. The service was prompt and friendly, with multiple servers checking on us throughout our visit (all done unobtrusively and appropriately). Food was great as well - some of the best Thai rama sauce (peanut sauce) I've ever had. The menu is extensive and we both very much enjoyed our meals.
